A unit of US marines masscred 347-504 unarmed civilians in Vietnam.

I'm surprised you Vietnamese still see the US as friends

Don't forget that the Americans only defended Vietnam in order to colonize it and stop communism from "taking over" Asia

The Domino effect? Bull$hit. It never happend. Several countries in Asia are still democratic and the US failed to defend Vietnam

Everything you said is true, the atrocities that was committed by U.S troops. The lesson here to be learn is that South Vietnamese should have never relied on mercenary and auxiliary forces to fight for them. The prince must not depend on mercenary. A mercenary is soldier that you hire and paid salary to and fight for you. Auxiliaries are when you make agreement with neighboring state that they will provide truce to help you in your fight. According to Machiavelli: " mercenary are both useless..anyone rely on mercenary will never be safe or secure..they run away from your enemy and attract to your ally… and once your pay is not enough they will walk away if not run." " Auxiliary are the other source of useless too…they can be useful in good time, when fighting on their behave or interest but not reliable when in someone else's interest.." Not only that's as history has shown, they can turn around and oppress you or they simply won't leave. South Vietnamese should have never replied on foreign troops--ever--thus they turn around and loot or rape the people they supposedly fighting for. North Vietnamese on the other hand never relied on auxiliaries forces, it was majority composed of native Vietnamese troops, hardcore, dedicated, nationalistic fighters. North Vietnam was offered by China some troops for the war effort but they were never allowed to enter into the country. So the lesson here is to your native troops and slaughter/massacre/ or simply reject auxiliaries and mercenary.

And "I'm surprised you Vietnamese still see the US as friends" I am not surprised at all, today's enemy can be tomorrow's ally and etc.. That is simply human's nature, they are brought to cooperate based on interest. Today's interest is to contain Chinese expansion.

Now, young man, you claimed to be a revolutionary, what establishment or social order are you fighting against? And you do know that in revolution, one either triumph or die, are you sure you ready for such a career path?

Thanks to China, expansionist vietnam failed to annex cambodia. Today, China will slowly and surely reclaim the South China Sea, through diplomatic and forceful means.

Our vietcongs frens can suck up to US and b!tch about China. But there is really nothing they can do.

I am fighting against every wrong that has been done to our race. Every wrong that has ever occurred to us in the past, in the present, and in the future. I am prepared to take my revolution all the way and I will unite Asia together even if I die trying. The world is a phoenix, and from the ashes, we, the greatest race on Earth, will triumph over the broken ashes of our enemies. We will put away our petty differences aside and unite the world to make it a better place for the next generation.

We will fight against the colonial enemies that have threatened to colonize the entire expanse of Asia, we will fight America, and we will fight Europe. I will ask the free peoples of Africa and the Arabic world to join us on this revolution. It is time to silence the Causcasoids of the Earth and shatter their will forever. Then, my allies will unite into 1 nation that will live on forever. It may not happen in my lifetime, but I hope I live long enough to see it. We must act now before it is too late. I am young and I am radical. I am Hmong and I am bold. But I will be the one to deliver us all into the new age of our race.

I ask you, dear sir, when the time comes for me to rise and the world sees my face, will you join me?

At the end of the day, Ho Chi Minh is still King and a savior of Vietnamese people. beerchug.gif

RIP to all the innocents that died.

Haven't they already officially apologized? I remember reading about them apologizing some months ago.

I will join you.

I am a radical ,myself, and we as radical mainly fight for justice and equality, those are our main concern. And equality means for all, regardless of race, religion, gender, etc...and the to discriminate a certain group of people because of their race is not justice, in which contradicts our goal of achieving equality. Therefore, you're not a true radical or a classical radical, more of an extremist.

I must warn you, though, those that spark a revolution are rarely the ones that finish it.

The notion that the South Viets called in USA and Australian troops in as mercenaries is as ridiculous as it is naive.

The USA was ultimately paranoid over the domino theory and they were coming to fight the North Vietnamese/Chinese whether the south liked it or not.

The Korea war saw fit for that to be inevitable.

The fact that you sit there and spout little 6th grade teachings show how little you actually know about the war.

You are correct, the domino effect never happened.

But Americas involvement in Laos and Viet Nam was to defend free markets. There was a need to supply post war Japan with trading partners (SEA) in order for Japan to have the income to trade with the West (US).

Also, an enormous documentation exists that the US had a goal of a free and independant Viet Nam, albeit free of communism, and were at loggerheads with the French about this. America is about money, not imperialism. They want the right to build Burger Kings and Starbucks on every corner of every street in every country.

You are Hmong, and you want to both fight every wrong done your race AND unite Asia? Did not the majority of Hmong support the French and USA? Weren't the Hmong victims of genocide by the Vietnamese in Laos after the fall of Saigon, because of this historical support?

Oh yes, and all those "free peoples of Africa and the Arabic world" that you will unite, I support you in that. However the Hutu vs. Tutsi
genocides, the Shia vs. Sunni conflicts where even though they are both Muslims their Mosques are not even safe from each others suicide bombers. Yes, I can see that they will flock to your side and beg to follow your leadership.

How old are you?

Why don't you go back to school and get an education....maybe start with history, and read about Ho Chi Minh while you are at it, a true leader.

The OP is a stubborn Hmong.
This tells us how limited his reasoning and critical thinking skills are.

He is a typical Hmong who can't seem to let go of the past. While America is against terrorism he is against communism.

How irrevalent. Politics and interests change all the time. Unlike some people.

This messianic mentality is futile and very French Indochina era. Please more on with life.
