Its like that wherever you go. Even in poor countries there will be rich communities that separate themselves, and in rich states you'll have the occasional slum. Income disparity...

Now, I understand your point of view in term of comparative materialism, Vietnam is indeed less developed than other countries. However, it is nothing wrong with being content with what you have. In the Greek Mythology, in the legend of Odysseys, one man traveled the world and saw it all but only to return home , be with his family, and be content, while letting the world's trouble fade away. Sometimes, some of us like enjoy what we have, no matter how less it may be compared to others. I mean should a short person not be seen or walk in public because he/she is not as tall as other? Now, that is not fair, tyrannical, domineering and oppressive by telling a short person that he/she cannot be seen in public because of his/her height is less compared to other.
It seems to be the original poster is not comparing with anyone, but only show content with what is. He is not disrespecting anyone or comparing it to anyone. So leave him alone.

Still don't understand why you're obligated to project yourself as some sort of spokesperson for the Vietnamese chat/community. Idea, if you love those countries so much why don't you spend your time in their forums instead? : )
