Before I get started with my rant, lemme get you started with who I am. I'm currently a second year college student. Anyways I'm currently taking a history course regarding early ancient history all the time to the 1500's. Unfortunately my professor is a stupid b!tch. She's a a white girl and a Chinese history specialist you see and that is main area of concentration (God knows why). So unfortunately she tends to have a Chinese bias regarding everything, always talking about how great the ancient Chinese were and how they were the most sophisticated and advanced civilization for most of history yadda yadda yadda, personally I'd like to dispute that but that's another issue. I admit it didn't really bother me at first even though she kept overboard with how great Chinese civilization and culture is. Then one day she did the unthinkable, she straight up told the entire class that the Chinese are perhaps the most peaceful and non-imperialistic people on earth. I was in a state of shock. As a Vietnamese who is damn proud of my heritage and culture, those words that came out of her mouth literally felt like a knife stabbing into my heart and her taking a dump all over my ancestors graves. I angrily raised my hand in class and yelled "Really what about Vietnam? You're telling me the Chinese were not imperialistic towards the Vietnamese? You're telling me that the thousand year rule of China over Vietnam was not imperialism?" She stood there for a second and then responded "That never happened, your comment is not true at all". I wanted to get up on the stage and choke her so bad but I realized that I had to settle this in a civilized manner. So I decided to visit her office hours and angrily debated her. I presented evidence from written sources both about Vietnamese history and even from hardcore Chinese history specialists specifically Ross Terrill, author of the book "The NEw Chinese Empire". In that book, even Terrill exclaims that the Chinese were extremely imperialistic people, grabbing a huge amount of their territory from aboriginals. In fact, he argues that China is by far the most successful imperialists to ever walk this earth due to the fact that no other civilization has been able to keep their empire in tact for such a long continuous time period and no one can disagree. I mean take a look at how big and fat China is, look at how much land they have and how much of that land was originally theirs to begin with? So I pointed all of these facts out to that stupid b!tch but she keeps insisting otherwise. She said and these are her words verbatim "China never colonized Vietnam at all, it's nothing but a conspiracy that Vietnamese leaders use to discriminate against the Chinese people for the fact that they dominate their economy. Southeast Asia in general has a huge problem with ethnic Chinese controlling their economy. Chinese have migrated to Vietnam sure, but they never established Colonial rule over them". It was about this point that i just had it. I yelled at her face "Really? So you're telling me that the Trung sisters were nothing but a myth?" You're telling me that battles of Bach Dang and other famous battles of Vietnamese gaining independence from the imperialist Chinese are all myths and not real? She paused for a second and said "More than likely they are not really meant to be taken in a serious manner". I was nearly in tears after hearing this, not in a sad way but in a fit of rage. How the hell can this stupid poor pathetic excuse of an academic possibly deride my people like that? How the hell can she possibly piss on the graves of my ancestors who fought so hard to retain our independence and identity with absolute ease? This was an insult to every Vietnamese person who's ever walked this earth. I yelled at her "You maybe a Chinese expert but you're extremely ignorant of other peoples history particularly Vietnamese". And guess what kinda nerve this woman has to say after that? "Well I'm not an expert on Southeast Asia or Vietnam but the truth is, they're history is rather minor compared to China's and rather insignificant". AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH I AM SO PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What should I do? How the hell can I get this b!tch fired? I'm thinking about gathering as many people particularly Vietnamese Americans as I possibly can to petition her retirement. This is an outrage, worst than anything the Japanese have denied on their part of raping China. Atleast the Japanese realize what they've done, they just don't care and are unwilling to repent. Chinese historians and China lovers like my stupid b!tch professor straight up rewrites history and pisses on the graves of my culture and identity and my brave ancestors who fought to retain it. Okay my rant is done.

So she's a Chinese history specialist? What a load of $hit. I suggest you take it up with the board of education and explain to them why she's not fit to teach.

Yes that's her area of concentration. She knows so much about Chinese history and yet she doesn't even know all of the imperialism the Chinese have committed over their thousands of years of history. Some Chinese specialist she is. Freaking evil witch, GGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I would love to end her career now and then but I'm virtually powerless. She is a professor afterall, not a lecturer or a even an associate but an actually professor and have been teaching for many years and she's one of the highest and well respected peers in her department, writing thesises every year. She went to both Columbia and Penn and one of the head chair faculty of the history department at my college. Someone of her credentials is virtually untouchable and it won't be long before she reaches tenure which means my aspirations to take her down are failing. Ah well before the quarter is over I want to write her nasty letter of ignorance on her part, atleast I can get that much done. She's such a biased evil witch too. You should hear some of her lectures, even when we are not discussing China she'll find some way to brag or compare the current civilization to the Chinese. For example when we talk about Egypt "Egypt was one of the greatest civilizations with a continuity almost parallel to China's". "Oh the Roman and Greeks built empires but unlike the Chinese, they didn't last as long". "Oh Han China is not only greater than Rome in sheer magnitude but in lasting power "Oh Tang and Song China were planet earth's superpowers" "Oh Japan is culturally dependant on China" There was even a chapter about India and guess what? She completely skipped it refusing to teach that part of history. Wow talk about ironic huh? For a girl with such a Chinese fetish, she doesn't teach about the civilization that her precious Chinese learned so much from. Ironically she discusses Buddhism in great detail when it refers to China but not about the place it originated from

So vietnamese peoples do have your own culture? i must of been such ignorant. i thought viet people are chinese, event the culture, you guy just another china province just broke away from main china then try to created something new. i'm sorry but the khmers are not conquerors. yes, we did conquer some small kingdoms like Dvaravati and Champa but we didn't completely destroy their kingdom. if you read khmer history, khmers would usually withdraw from the chams territory. khmers were and still are one of the most generous people in SEAsia. we let the nomadic tai tribes settled on khmer territory but they soon betrayed us. we let the chams settle on our territory after they their kingdom was destroyed and even gave them their own province call kompong cham. then, we let the viets settled on our territory and like the tais, they betrayed us and tried to eradicate our civilization and culture. the tais and viets were and still are the aggressors and they've tried several times working together in order to take over cambodia completely. i wouldn't be surprise if they are still working together to destroy cambodia.
