this is quite simple

your eyes assume the big red and small blue triangles have the same degree which make you think that the slopping line is straight, but its not, so one figure has slope line bent down while the other has it bent up, that make up for the missing square

No it's not. It's nothing related to your eyes at all.

It's just like that, it's wierd, but true. They both have same areas, same magnitudes, and everything, but when rearranged it, it has an extra box. That's all.

Yeah, samething if u cut it on papers, but its true that the 2 triangles have to have different angular degree. If they have the same, u won't fit them all into one figure without a missing area

edit: they both have to fit into same retangle area to make the trick count
