Asia Finest Discussion Forum > Asian Culture > Vietnamese Chat

I found this site to be very entertaining & fun but at the same time it spread the friendship amongst Asians worldwide. Thus, able to learn cultures & traditions of different backgrounds, which I must say, are very interesting. Considering Cambodia and Vietnam shares a close border, people need not hate as Bryon has quote "never to hate people for their race no matter what their race has done in the past", which I agreed.

I don't understand why, people needs to make 'racist' remarks or become negative towards a certain person, due to their race. A person was born into a certain race because it was meant to be that way. You are proud of the person you are, not of how people view you as someone your not.

Having said that, I hope that Cambodians (generally targeting at those who continues to make close-minded remards regarding other race) on this site needs to stop bad-mouthing other race. It is horrible and unfair...think before you post certain comments, because sometimes small sentence can be messy, and it makes your race look 'bad' allowing 'hatred' to arise.

icon_wink.gif

I only wish that between Cambodians and Vietnamese, remains friends. The past is the past, it is the present that need to be focus on. If the Vietnamese can, take the heart, to accept those Cambodians who continuously make bad remarks, because most of the times, I'm sure every Cambodians wouldn't agree either, as there are out there who wants to make friends, rather than inviting enemies.

I am not taking side, but I speaks honestly and with dignity because respects
is important if you want to be 'respected'.

All in all, we're one, aren't we? We're A.sians, and Asians comes together as one, because we're apart of families. The Power of Love speaks stronger than hate!

I am agreed with both of you guys on this, "treats people as you want to be treated", but people tend to not understand that, thing is, Asians people are very jealous, i mean, not all, but somewhat. I am a Vietnamese, and I sometimes do not agree with Vnamese behaviors either, (they're kinda short temper too, a little buzz and hehehe fight might start), but anyway, my best buddy is Cambodian, his name is Sokhena, we're like brother and i don't see why people have to look down on others, that's just pathetics, i do regret i make fun people sometimes, but i know my limits, i do apolozy people when i hurts their feeling, why don't we all do that?

For the sake of friendship and peace, grow up and learn to be a real Asian person should be. Such as this comment never seem to be appropriate, it is always a start of an attack otherwise, pure negative. At least, give a reasonable explaination as to why it happens so and examplify your reasons, than perhaps it gives the readers a better understanding towards your anger.

Jealousy is a norm thing that was born into people. It is nature. Even famous and rich people still become jealous even though these people have everything they can ask for. People must have feelings and the need to excite themself and others in order to show that they are good. Though jealousy can turn into anger and hate. Looking down on others is another story, which in relation to being judgemental. Likewise 'never judge a book by its cover', or some people feels the need to look good and feel better by putting others down. Again, they are human nature, but at the same time, Asian people should become friend and make friend.

For a certain, it is unfair that there are always people arguing and fighting over nothing...or just a small simple thing but chose to look in the wrong directions. Ideally, between Cambodians and Vietnamese. There are Vietnamese people out there who wish to befriend with Cambodians and than Cambodians go and ruin the peace. As well as vice-versa.

Yep, that seems to be true enough, though not all new members. I am a new member and I have just joined couple of days ago but needless to say, there is no need to jump into conclusion behind the flames about a certain race, because a race is a race, you can't do anything about it but learn to see where its coming from first. That's right, people are just hiding behind the computer and act tough, but I dare, in real life, you can't be tough face to face. So stop dissing each other or what their race should be. Make friends and learn about their cultures etc.

Cheers!

hahaha...Johannjs that is very amusing! Why, I can never be a chap, unless I identify myself as one...though I can never be one. Aussie Aussie and a chic will always be a chic no matter what! Oi, Oi, Oi, mate?

Why...if you want to believe in the Power of Love, than who can stop you? Believe in it...always believe and it will someday come. Unless the person is not the type to believe in anything, that, is a different story. There is nothing harmful in just believing...Love is always the answer! Just like God, is the answer to your prays!

Ach, ja! mein lieber Gott! So bist Du ein echter Engel! Oi, Oi, Oi, mate? Do you know what the above Sprichtwort means? Kannst Du deutsch?
