I bake a lot of cookies. I do it like 3 times a week.

I just follow the classic Tollhouse recipe, but I often replace the chocolate chips with other things. Not because I don't like chocolate chips, but because I always end up eating the chips by themselves, so when the time comes to use them in cookies, they're all gone. :/

The substitutions I use:

- A huge amount of finely chopped pecans. The pecans not only add crunchiness/texture, but also an intense nut flavor.

- Chopped chocolate malted milk balls (whoppers). These cookies are so incredibly awesome, I could probably sell them.

- Minced black licorice candy. Red vines, nibs, good n plenty, ect. will all work. They end up tasting similar to those Anise-flavor cookies you get around Christmas, but so much more intense. They also have a really unique, chewy texture.

Thanks!! I"m always looking for new interesting recipies.
I made Pumpkin spice cake (sooo moist), banana nut bread and Kitchen-sink cookies (best cookies ever, can't go wrong) today but I'm too wiped out type the recipes now so I"ll come back and share them late -_-;
