Is Singapore a corporatist country? Can someone describe the corporatist 'political' structure of Singapore?

I think the word corporatist should be defined cleanly before any intelligent chat can begin.

It just means that each person has a specific purpose and role for the common good of the country.

All the Singaporean I met seems to indicated they are working for the common good of PAP, so that is why they get low pay, high taxes and no freebies from the government except before election.

No, I think Singapore is Sparta of the Far East. Why? In Sparta, every Male is a Soldier, so is Singapore. In Sparta, Childrens who were not physically fit to become a soldier were "discarded". In Singapore, many Teenagers who fail to performed, prefer to take their own live. But the cause is from the pressure from the parents and peers, so in a way, the parents and the communities are indirectly responsible for the death of this youth.

I don't think Singapore is a corporatist country.......infact i think its a Country which provides every one with equal Opportunities.......& fcourse the fittest one survives
