A group of twenty Chinese and Japanese scholars who recently completed a three-year joint history study have concluded that the Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945) was an action of aggression by Japan against China, chinanews.cn reported today.

The scholars, selected by both governments to conduct a joint study on related Sino-Japanese history, also agreed the Nanjing massacre was a large-scale massacre against humanity.

The joint research report will be made public next month, according to Chinanews.cn.

This post is not about bashing Japanese past mistake, but to show past mistake of imperialist adventure.

I think it is about time for Chinese to forgive Japanese, no?

Its good to finally have a joint research to end speculations on WW2 events. The truth is best whatever it maybe and the war can finally be put to rest.

I will be interested to read the report. I hope it covers not only what happened but also why it happened.
