Tăng Tuyết Minh (Chinese: 曾雪明[1], pinyin: Zeng Xueming, 1905–1991) was the wife of Vietnamese Communist leader Hồ Chí Minh. They lived together in Guangzhou (Canton) in 1926-27. Hồ became president of North Vietnam in 1954, but the couple was never reunited. Her existence has never been acknowledged by the Vietnamese government.[2]

Minh was born into a Chinese Catholic family in Guangzhou in October 1905.[1] She was the youngest daughter in a family of ten children, including seven girls.[1] Her father, a businessman from Meixian, Guangdong named Zeng Kaihua (曾开华), died in 1915.[1] Her mother's name was Liang Xuxian (梁续弦).[1] As the daughter of a concubine, she was expelled from her father's house when he died.[3] She learned to be a midwife at a school in Guangzhou and graduated in 1925 at the age of 20.[1]

Tỷ muội an tâm,

Để em an ḷng,

if the French did not come, then Vietnamese writing now is similar to something like Korean writing and Japanese writing

Ho Chi Minh speaks 7 languages: Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, French, English, Russian, and maybe Japanese or Thai.

Uncle Ho was our hero. Poverty didn't exist because of him. Uncle Ho just wanted to get rid of the French colonization of Vietnam. viets were even discriminated in their own country too.

He was a good leader. However, he lost political power in 1956 to Le Duan. Le Duan was the leader from 1956 to 1986, for a period of 30 years.

If Ho Chi Minh is Lenin, then we can say that Le Duan is Stalin.

He remained in Thailand, staying in the Thai village of Nachok, until late 1929 when he moved on to Hong Kong, and Shanghai. In June 1931, he was arrested in Hong Kong. To reduce French pressure for extradition, it was announced in 1932 that Hồ had died.[9] The British quietly released him in January 1933. He then made his way back to the Soviet Union, where he spent several more years recovering from tuberculosis. In 1938, he returned to China and served as an adviser with Chinese Communist armed forces.[3] Around 1940, Nguyễn Ái Quốc began regularly using the name "Hồ Chí Minh",[3] a Vietnamese name combining a common Vietnamese surname (Hồ, 胡) with a given name meaning "enlightened will" (from Sino-Vietnamese 志明; Chí meaning 'will' (or spirit), and Minh meaning 'light'), in essence, mean "bringer of light".

Mr. Nguyen Sinh Cung / Nguyen Ai Quoc / Ho Chi Minh knows how to speak at least 7 languages: Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, French, English, Russian, and Japanese or Thai or Korean.

He was born in 1890. Until 1941, he spent most of his time abroad and then went back to Vietnam in 1941 to fight for independence, freedom, and happiness of Vietnam until he died in 1969. Unfortunately, many of his followers like Le Duan were not good leaders like he was.

Nguyen Sinh Cung (birth name)
Nguyen Ai Quoc (Nguyen Who Loves The Country)
Ho Chi Minh (enlightened will or bringer of light)

Hồ Chí Minh",[3] a Vietnamese name combining a common Vietnamese surname (Hồ, 胡) with a given name meaning "enlightened will" (from Sino-Vietnamese 志明; Chí meaning 'will' (or spirit), and Minh meaning 'light'), in essence, mean "bringer of light".

I thought the Portuguese missionaries changed the writing system.
