I believe this idea was first brought in by many Japanese and Korean politicians about 4-50 years ago...
What do you think of the idea? Agree or disagree? Please answer (Koreans only!)

An economic partnership between Korea and Japan wouldn't be too bad. But I feel Mongolia, based upon its less then impressive economic standing (in proportion to Korea and Japan), doesn't really belong in it(?)

If trade routes are to be guaranteed, Mongolia is more than its worth in the said trade block.

Mongolia has a small population and an abundance of resources. If given the opportunity it could modernize very very quickly and match the economies of other wealthy asian nations.

^What brilliant insight, please do go on.....LOL.
Why has'nt Japan or Korea or even USA for that matter reached out to the Mongolians?
Obviously people here have never located Mongolia on a Map.

Though it would help Korea, Mongolia, and Japan,
but, isn't there still the "grand rivalry" with Korea and Japan?

it sound like a great idea since Japan and Korea always mock each other and bring both nation down everyday. Giving each other such a bad reputation and contribution to the high rise of suicidal, no?

well since mongolia isn't as developed as korea and japan, what can help is their natural resources(if they have em) and since mongoalian territory is bigger than korea and japan combined they must have more people right? or do they?
well if they have a lot more poeple then basically
more people = bigger market = higher GDP
look at china for example. all the great potentials come from the amount of their population.

Why not include China too and make it a more general, East Asian community? Surely one could imagine the enormous power an East Asian bloc could have in international affairs.
