He is trying to say Han and Viet are brother, but in fact Han alway attacked Viet since 2000 years ago. Even now China want whole SEA sea include Vietnam islands. How can we be brother with aggressive Han?
they are just a few small islands. the land border is totally settled. only one left is india. we will attack india, not vietnam

Please keep in mind that Socal is the only one that actually tries to link Viets and Hans, IRL no real Vietnamese would ever want anything to do with or any relations with Hans unless he's an ethnic Han himself. It's completely understandable if you and the rest of your Han brothers feel the same because the feelings are mutual my friend, so don't confuse Socal's abnormal behavior as an accurate representation of the mentality of Vietnamese.

All you see/hear between these two countries are western spin/reports how they don't get along. But for the Vietnamese and Chinese (people and government) inside their country, they are work hard together to improve their lives and the friendship between two countries.
Vietnam and CHina's relationship will only get better as their people interact more and trade more.
