ST PETERSBURG, Russia, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Racists stabbed a 20-year-old Vietnamese student to death in the city of St. Petersburg, police said on Thursday, in the latest violence blamed on extreme Russian nationalists.

His death was at least the fourth racist murder in Russia this year. A nine-year-old Tajik girl was stabbed to death in broad daylight in St Petersburg in February.

A student from Guinea-Bissau and an Afghan trader were killed in other cities.

Police said Vu Anh Tuan's body was found with at least five knife wounds after a group of 15 to 20 youths attacked him late on Wednesday. Prosecutors said 15 people had been detained.

Around 100 Vietnamese students gathered at the murder scene to protest against the killing and demand protection from the police against racist attacks, which are linked to a growing number of fascist and racist organisations.

"We came to study in this country, which we thought was a friend of Vietnam. We do not have drunken fights, we do not steal, we do not sell drugs and we have the right to protection from bandits," said one demonstrator.

Students who witnessed the stabbing said the attackers wore semi-military uniform, leather jackets and boots, and had shaven heads.

According to some estimates, St Petersburg has as many as 20,000 racist extremists.

Police admit they have a problem in tackling the extremists, but officers are themselves often implicated in assaults on immigrants from Central Asia, who tend to be Muslim and darker skinned than most Russians.

His mom was in hospital when she was told that her son was killed.

My Brothers inlaw was murdered in Moscow. He too was a student. 2 other Cambodian students were killed, and it was racialy motivated.

Those are Russian immigrants to US. However not all Russian immigrants are that nice. I met a Russian student in US. He expressed his view on how superior white people is over other races. I guess things will be different when you come to live in Russia.

Tuan is not the only victim of racial attacks in Russia. In the same day, 2 Russians also stabbed to death a Chinese in Chita, Siberia.

If you want to study overseas make sure you never go to Russia. They treat asians like $hit.

I heard that the asian students on Scholarships in Russia have to do bin duty and jobs like that, and this is from a student that was doing medicine over in russia......

Asians are smarter clearly and our average income in U.S. are higher than White.
I have a White american roommate too. He is English. We discuss about which race is superior. And I made he change his mind ) White has more terresterone --> more stupid. Black has most terresterone --> most stupid. Asian children live in White family are smarter than the White children in that family on average.

In this matter, you need knowledge to argue to those White. From what you see everyday, White shows they are superior, but in fact they are not. They always try to hide their bad things in classes, teach their good things to make them look good.

Don't let you be CHEATED by White society.

The funny thing is that there are some American guys are more stupid than me in something and feel angry. When I look at their faces at the time they are humiliating by me, they look so sad Now when they see me again, they don't even have enough courage to look at me. Stupid people I am superior They know that and can not do anything about it.

I've seen my fair share of dumb white people and free-minded liberals, but too inexperience about the world. And the truth is, racist white people aren't really racist toward Asian. It's just they don't know about us.

But I've also seen the Asian that study by memorize the damn book and regurgitate it on the test. Asian does well academically, but seriously, if that's how you study, even if you get an A, it doesn't mean anything. But sadly that's how Asian studies. If I was in charge of the education system, I'd limit taking writting test, and instead have oral exams.

There are alot of Russian in my school, most of them are really nice.

Which race is smarter is immaterial, the point is if you are smarter then why not use your smartness to help those who are less fortunate then yourself instead of using it as an excuse to attack someone. Within any race, 50% will be above average and 50% will be below. If they want to use intelligence as a reason to attack someone, then why do they not attack the 50% of people within their own race who are below the average IQ.
