No, this is not meant as a new flag for Vietnam or anything. This is just my way of saying that we should all respect each other's political beliefs and unite for the common cause of Vietnamese democracy and what is best. In short, this is only a symbol of Vietnamese unity and reconciliation that I found quite appropriate for posting it on here.

For those of you who support my message of unity, please feel free to provide constructive and respectful comments.

For those who are start bashing each other or glorify one side over another, please keep out of this thread.

If you see these people, please ignore them so that this won't turn into another flame thread. Remember, the focus of this thread is unity so please stay on topic.

It's up to the supporters of national unity to ignore these types of people. Also be wary of trolling and recognize it for what it is.

I don't like the circle thought. That makes me think of Korean flag and Japanese flag which have the yin/yang and the red sun in the middle. We need something different than that.

Why is the Star not aligned? Can you align the Star please?

The star is fine. The circle, the colors etc, not in harmony at all. Instead of reminding you of Dong Son it reminds you more of an orange.

We can do a much better interpretation that. Appreciating that flag just because of Dong Son's time and culture is, blind appreciation.

Ok, go back to the basic then. Instead of the yellow circle protecting the brave and brilliant heart, just replace with a horizontal yellow line, which stands to one, as unity. Still protected, and uniting and it doesnot look like an orange. Any further idea welcome.
