In Vietnamese, do you say thank you often? ...Like how do you respond when people tell ya you're pretty, or handsome? or compliment you in other ways? ^_^

sugarcane knos we're a polite people too, but somatimes cause of cultural differences... or we're just kinda shy... so we say tanks through a different way... like a smile perhaps? ...so how about yu?

.....has anyone told you taht before? ... or what sorts of things do peoples usually say about you? tell us!!?

I act like goof when this one girl said it to me. It's just so weird when people are that up front. I'm used to telling girls they're pretty and they take it the right way, but when it was reversed on me I was a bit discombobulated. I really forgot what I said but I acted like fool is all that I remember.

Never had a comment like that. If it is, its mostly UGLY. WHen they lie to themselves and say that i'm handsome, i would give them my dirty looks.

i always get commented on "my beauty"..im just think.." are you sh**ing me?..yeah right!" most of my freinds are tellin me my older sister is pretty before telling me in pretty. overall, my relatives and any other viet people always tell me that im the most prettiest in my family. they said i look better with make up then w/out make up..im like uhh..yeah right! and then when ti comes to freinds and complete strangers..my sister is the prettiest..or as they say..the hottest..ahahaha.. but when some1 comments on "my beauty" i just always say "yeah right but thanx."
