there were about 700 former Japanese soldiers until vietnam war in Vietnam
they refused to go home after WW2
they say these soldiers contributed for vietnum ......
is anyone know that ?

Many of those Japanese deserters became trainers to help Viet Minh in the war against the French, not against the American. They started to return to Japan when Vietnam became 2 nations. Yes I just saw an article, " The contribution of our new VietNam citizens, the Japaneses, in the war against the French"

some of them made army shcool.
I heard the peasons who graduated form became the 200vietnamese officer in Vietnam war

in 1986, 8Japanese received commendation from vietnamese government
