Full Version: Vietnam Finishes Atop ASEAN Skills Contest

VietNamNet – Vietnam has won 13 out of 18 gold medals to top the fifth ASEAN workers’ skill contest.

The Vietnamese team left its rivals in the dust, earning medals in all 14 events of the contest.

Vietnam took gold in automobile technology, a weak event for Vietnamese contestants according to experts.

Of the 14 vocations, there is only one that Vietnamese contestants didn’t gold in, silver in restaurant service.

Judges has said Vietnamese workers participating in this contest have some of the highest professional skills in Southeast Asia. However, the reality is the general level of Vietnamese workers need due attention from government and authorities improve standards throughout the country.

Duong Duc Lan, Deputy Head of the Organising Board said that medallists would be recruited to universities to study in their fields of strength, thus validating the contest and its results. The final medal tallies are below:

if they didnt compete , the country Cambodia wouldnt be in the list , they did but didnt win anything ...
