It's cost around $1100 to $1400 depend on which airline you chose to go with.

...And of course it's the round trip price. I find EVA is the best airline to go to VN. If you buy the delux ticket, it's about $1,100. I also like Asiana airline and then Singapore airline. Go to their website for more info.

No, it doesn't sound right. I went to VN in February. The EVA Delux ticket was $1,090USD. I also had 2 stops, Kaohsiung and Taipei before Vietnam. I spent 1 week each stop. Today with fuel cost goes skyhigh, ticket prices may go higher ...

Well, i don't know about Canada, but here in US if you travel to VN during summer time or X-mas time it will cost around that range. I'll be going back to VN this December and the ticket cost me close to $1100, and probably will makes at least three stop (i'm not sure where and when yet, I just know the price of ticket right now). But I don't think it cost $600 or $700, hope your dream come true

Korean Air is the cheapest. The only thing is you have to wait in Seoul for couple of hr . You will also arrive in Vietnam at midnight (lots of people dont like this). Last time i paid only 650 in summer (2000) and i also got 4 free nights at the *** hotel. Check with your agent.

I'll hang myself if i have to wait for that long, few hours is ok, but few days, hmmm....i dunn know.

Why don't you fly with Vietnam Airlines and support the national economy? Don't put money into the Korean, Taiwanese or Singaporeans' pocket unless you have to.

Vietnam Airlines has just opened a direct route to the US, via LA or San Fran I can't remember. I'm from Australia by the way.

Anyway I would fly direct from Sydney to Saigon when we go to Vietnam.

My first trip to Vietnam as a kid was in 1996. My second trip was January this year. I'm hoping to go there again in 2006. By then I'll be working as a professional. 2008 will be a trip to Beijing to cheer for the Vietnamese Olympic team.

I'd love to have the trip go direct, no waiting, no hassle and support the economy too, I'll do that. I went back over there last summer for my brother wedding, it was cool, then again this time for some businesses that need to be taking care of, and may be again sometime next year for my graduation (if i make it on time).
