Most of Vietnamese history are occupied with continous wars. Do you think there will be future wars? With who? And when will our peace last?

VN will be peaceful for along time as long as the government and country is powerful ... no nation dares to atack a nation as strong or stronger than them.. especially with UN (US) pushing their weight around....

What good would come out of discussing such an issue? Vietnam's future is unknown to us and we can only make vague predictions given the amout of knowledge we have and history's repeating trends. We should all work to make Vietnam an economically stable country; free of corruption. That way, Vietnam would do everything in its power to avoid war, thus sparing her population from another era of suffering.

Given Vietnam's current relation with foreign countries, I don't see a war coming anytime soon. Also, I can't really say that Vietnam is really at peace with so much corruption and poverty.

I'm sorry, but I dont like your question. Because you and me and others dont want this to happen. So everyone has to try to keep peace on our country. however, if the war happened, What would you do ?

I predict there might be a War Of Religion.. in vietnam someday PROBABLY... catholic churches and buddhist temples will someday fight against eachother.. well not buddhist temples but people who go there lol.... Thats the only problem i can think of now.
Oh Yea, Also, we might have a War Of Government. The Communist MIGHT one day have to put up a fight with the people of vietnam, because once vietnam become more educated(most of the population), then the people of vietnam will find out that communist doesn't work and doesn't grant enough freedom, then they will fight back at the government(thats IF the government doesn't change itself.)
Haha, then we might have a war over what accent should be the official accent of vietnam lol( I CHOOSE SOUTHERN ).

I don't think we will have much war with anyone, unless they want to take over our country... or we take over their country lol. i dont think that will happen unless our population outgrows the country, then we might need a second door to more space lol.

At the moment there doesn't seem to be any country Vietnam would go to war with. I think Vietnam will be peaceful for at least another 100 years. But after that, I don't know. Hopefully we'll get peace for once, I'm sick of reading history books, and all we ever do is fight. All these constant fightings cut back our chance to develop a richer culture of our own.

The regime will change, but I doubt it'll be a cause of a war. I think it will be a smooth shift from a bunch of old commies to a group of hopefuls.

There will always be war, the question remain...how long. I suppose China would be the only thread to Vietnam, but we can always take anything that they comes out way.
