Okay, why do Singaporean's like the guy when he is so left leaning. This is not good for Singapore's economy. We are totally dependent upon international trade. More so than any nation. The guy seems to be slightly protectionist and only wants to protect jobs in America, NOT singapore.
Why? Most Singaporean's don't even know what he stands for other than the fact that he is black. And they support him? I find this type of blind support disgusting. Just like following any trend that comes out from America.

not true, not all SGs like Obama, the government leaders for instance much preferred the hawkish admin of McCain as it is "predictable" while Obama's admin is as u say, "untried" and "unknown" quantity.
