Full Version: My Ideal Overseas Vietnamese Population
Asia Finest Discussion Forum > Asian Culture > Vietnamese Chat
Nam Quoc Son Ha
United States of America: 5 million
Canada: 2 million
Australia: 1 million
France: 2 million
United Kingdom: 500,000
Germany: 500,000
Eastern Europe combined: 500,000
Japan: 150,000
New Zealand: 100,000

It's always been my dream to see the seeds of Lac Hong prosper and spreads all over the world to ensure the survival of our race and the promotion of our culture, traditions and history too everybody in this world. Not only this, with such a large overseas population, the reconstruction of the Motherland would also speed up and national prosperity realised sooner.

What do you guys think? Is this possible?

Here's my plan:

- Every overseas Vietnamese family should have at least 3 children, preferably 4.
- Try by all mean to get as many Vietnamese in Vietnam to a first world country as possible. This could be through marriages (fake or real).

*EDIT*

Your plan would fail if the bulk of that population were completely assimilated into their new host countries after a few generations.

It's happening right now as we speak......

First generation was good, but second generation of immigrants are .........

I think only the chinese are the best at keeping their culture intact.

Okay, First of all Vietnam did not “borrow” the land. I’m not against or for the relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam, nor am I saying it’s right or wrong for the existence of that war. But all I’m pointing our here is Vietnam did not “Borrow”. Okay Settle?

Get back on topic.

Heh...we didnt' borrow anything. As the weaker country, you guys lost your land because our ancestors saw the need to expand and took it from you guys, for the sake of our people. I'm not denying we took land from you guys, and I'm not giving out any apologies. I'm giving thanks to my ancestors though, for fighting to ensure the survival of my people.

How annoying, another little troll has found his way into another Vietnamese specific thread.

Regarding Rei's comment- The Chinese have, for quite sometime, been migrating away from China to different countries around the world for political and economic reasons. Thus there would usually be a new group of fobs to replace the assimilated population.

I want the Vietnamese people to populate all over the world. First, for the survival the race and promotion of our culture. Second, for the economic benefits that it will entail for the Motherland.
