Few? Did you go down Spring Mountain Rd? There are plenty of billboards with Viet names advertising just about anything.

I believe there are like 6 or 7 Pho restaurants on Spring Mountain Rd. I did not go there but my uncle and aunt ate Pho at one of those restaurants this morning told me the Pho restaurants were packed with customers and lines of people (Viet-only customers) stretching quite long outside waiting. Other than that, when I walked around the Strip and hanging inside many hotel/casino I did not see that many Viet people at all

The Viet community in LV may not be as large or concentrated like 'Little Saigon' in CA, but it is larger than you might think. Our house is in Henderson and I have no problems meeting Viets outside of LV. The Strip is like Waikiki -- tourists only -- and neither places are good indicators of the local area.

That's what I wanted to say, I was looking mainly for Viet tourists just like me but did not see many at all. The Asian tourists that I saw are mainly East Asian

I have a Vietnamese friend and he goes to Indian casinos (Pala, Pachanga) in southern California all the time. If he can drive in 2 hours, why make the longer trip to Las Vegas?

whew, I stopped by our friends' house in LV during the July 4th week, and the temperature registered some unholy 100 F at mid-night.

Last time the local people defeated the proposal to open the casino in the Garden Grove area. I think the community did a good thing. Cờ bạc là bác thằng bần.

man you're right about having very few viets here in vegas.. I've lived here all my life and I've honestly only knew a few. crazy.
A lot of filipinos though, I always feel left out because I have little to no fellow Vietnamese friends

Everytime I've been, I've seen mostly Chinese and Filipino. The hotel rooms even have Mandarin/Cantonese/Tagalog channels now, it's crazy. Either way Vegas is an awesome city.
