I got to visit Little Sai Gon in California after 3 years, so it was pretty cool. Everywhere I turn, there's a Viet person, which is something quite pleasantly different from where I live now. I got to meet some friends I haven't even talked to in over 7 years. One of them has grown to a beautiful young woman..but alas, still too young for me. Maybe I'll make a move in another 7 years

I got to see most of my family...hell, there were some I forgot even existed since I rarely ever got a chance to talk to them. But I don't think I'll forget them now.

I visited the house and school where I lived and attended and haven't seen for 7+ years - I'm a sucker for sentimentality so I just had to come back. Sadly, no time for Disneyland and the beach, since the trip wasn't exactly a vacation.

But I did get to go to Phuoc Loc Tho though. Bought some elegant Vietnamese cloth paintings, some CDs and DVDs, and a boatload of food - including banh mi o, kho bo, ca phe sua da, and other stuff. Here some of what I bought:
