Telematic is the 2002 one. We won that one (which is the first ROBOCON) also. That time all countries were surprised. Japan newspapers always look down on us, but we beat the hell out of them in semi-final biggrin.gif and Japanese teams were angry biggrin.gif In 2004, we won and affirm again that Vietnamese young generation are smart people biggrin.gif
I remember that in 2002, we had a creative idea. While robots of other teams try to move and put the balls in the basket, our robots stay there and throw the balls to the basket biggrin.gif

The Japanese team was angry? That's sad there still exists public prejudice in the world.

So in 2004 Vietnam won the Grand Prix and Best Idea Award again?
superb
In 2002, we didn't win Best Idea award.
Yeah in 2002, Japanese newspaper looked down on our team until we became champions. Of course they don't say inferior. They just mean our team is suck. I think this contest changed views of some people in that Japan country towards Vietnam.

Vietnam is a poor country, so I am not surprised if people look down on us. However, if you are good, you don't have to care about that. I personally believe Vietnam will be a much better country in 30 years.
