Hi everybody, I dont live at Singapore, i´m looking for a cute girl jaja, and some help, ... this is real...
I live in Mexico and i work for a meat company, we export and provide alimentary resources to other countries.
Maybe the company will send me for the end of the year to your country, and maybe i´ll stay there for a couple of months and i want to be prepared.
I want to learn everything about your alimentary habits, who cooks, where is the best place to eat and so.
I hope you can help me to describe your culture, your habits, what you do, what you eat, how you live.. I dont know a thing
Thank you very much for your valuable help icon_wink.gif

Mostly Chinese culture with majority of the citizens speaking english, 1st world, laws are tough so crime rate is very low, hot even at night, food is mostly cheap so most people don't bother to eat at home, no chewing gum is allow and be careful if you are visiting Malaysia up north since it is 3rd world country with crimes and hygiene problem.

Most of the Indians in Singapore are Tamils. Also Tamils from Srilanka are also in large numbers.

Singapore is home to a diverse ethnic community which offers an extraordinary cultural experience. There are several cultural places in Singapore comprises of the Geylang Serai, which is a habitat for Malay population, Little India for Indians and Chinatown for the Chinese. In these places, you will find wide selection of feature items belonging to the respective ethnic groups.

Singapore is rich in color and distinction with a mix of art, architecture, cuisines and culture. She is one of the prettiest island nations in Asia and visitors can explore numerous aspects and characteristics housed there. You will be amazed by the many Singapore tourist attractions that this little island can offer. These tantalizing and captivating places of interest are not only for business or leisure travelers, but also for the nature enthusiasts, historians or zoologists. Singapore has something for everyone.

I like to make fun of Singaporeans but I really want to visit it in the future. It looks like there's a lot of stuff to do and lots of different food to eat. I love eating different kinds of SEAsian foods, and my old Japanese professor who's married to a Malaysian Chinese lady said that I must visit it one day.

to threadstarter, did you find that girl? was she good? lol.

Nice...lol. I'd rather you guys make fun of Filipinos in general, man I feel sorry for OFW maids, they go off to a different country to be nothing short of slaves of other people. I got mad respect for them. Hopefully one day when we get up this hump I'd wish it's you guys coming to our country, not as maids but as business partners. But that's along long ways from now.

I met a private banker here on safari who said he travels from HK to Phil every month to help the rich money men in Manila (mostly chinese) to invest in the money markets abroad...

I think he said somefink like there are just too many crooks in the Philippine financial world... he said Singaporean businessmen would be screwed by these crooks in no time... sure.gif

hhaha the monopolies just an excuse, see how those corrupt crooks linked to many powerful locals. ( money-power always linked,)
even these ppl got caught there always some replacement. it is obvious if we only see colors,
chinese are ONLY have the "money card" in SE asia
while other races have money power and culture card.
so in this matter, there s only Chinese crook who can be seen in naked eye ....

It's my job, I love it and I'll do it the best of my ability, but I'm a robot. You have way too much stereotype of military people. lol. It's my homeland, home is home. You still consider Singapore your home? Loyalty has nothing to do with it, it's not like they tell me I have all other countries lol.

Just met one? $hit. Are there a lot of Rachel Kums? lol.

I have been to Singapore and stayed there for one and a half year. The Singaporeans, in my eyes, are quite friendly. I have been getting along with them and one Singaporean girl even gave me a birthday present-a Chinese chop, a personalized sealmade by professional engravers. I like it very much and I can use it print my signature!

i'll always consider singapore my home .. but i suspect some day the island state may just be forced to become a mental institution for over-worked, over-neurotic, over-spending Singaporeans n Chinese Indonesians!
