any of you live in the us and watch last comic standing? this vietnamese dude won that contest.

i saw him for just a little bit when i was channel surfing, i caught his the last 5 minutes of his act, it was pretty funny.. he made a joke about how white doods would come up to him and start making these fake chinese sounds like ching chong waah while imitating karate movements...

and he was like, why is this guy saying, chair, book, hat, pencil etc.. or something like that! lol it was funny.

Yep. He won last year. Didn't they reinvite him to come back on for a special.

oh yeah! the joke was the white guys would make the ching chong slurs and the Dat Phan was like,"you don't see us sayin chairs, fire hydrants, tree's, dogs" etc. but that guy is really something although I noticed his comedy routine is based on racism and stereotypes. like, that's his material. i think he should get different material

Don't you see that in his own way he defeating the sterotype and racism with humor. If you can laugh at yourself and make fun of the people who dis you, the insult becomes less biting. And if it becomes less biting, your enemies won't use it.

i feel bad cause sometimes i try to act like how he does it when he copies his mom and my girl is like that's so stereotypical. but hey we all need fun cuz if were always serious man we'd all kill each other.

HEY Guys i just saw his act today and man was it really somethin. so one of his jokes involved dating a white girl and having to take care of her blonde kid and the kid climbs up the mom's leg so Dat takes her under his arm he's walking through the mall with a blonde kid under his arm and how funny it looked lolol then he talked about angelina jolie adopting cambodian kids and then she takes them BACK to cambodia and they're like "this sucks, we were just here!"

after seeing many of his acts he is boring because he does the same thing over and over again with the vietnames jokes and always moving around nad making sounds after a joke i feel kind of embarrased that he has to do that.

but he didn't do that today tho : )) i think he's changing direction and going towards the light.. of 50k
