I tend to keep my eye on the Active Topics page most of all which is why I can usually see whenever anyone says anything worth replying to on here. With the swimming pool question, I was joking about where in Syria Tartus City is, and so I was sort of hinting as to the location on the map for others to guess, without giving it away too ewasy.
