It doesn't sound too bad.

I'm hungry, let's eat.

Khong an com thi bi an don, that sounds caring and encouraging. I've finally found the cure for anorexia. Stupid rich b!tches "I don't wanna eat!!! wahhhhh" A couple of stab wounds will get them to start eating,( with all the bones and no meat on them you should wear conferable gloves if you want to care for your hands, that is) and for them, the food will probably taste better as well. These young men are an inspiration to us all. This is what society needs.

"An chua ma di? Tau tat cho bay gio!" That line is very encouraging and baddass, if I may.

Every time my parents went back to VN visiting, I always advise them to watch out for these "restaurant-prison"! embarassedlaugh.gif

Waiiiit, Nghệ An is the home town of HCM, so whoever running this business of force-feeding-on-the-penalty-of-being-slapped-silly must have very strong back-up that even the head of the local government didn't want to deal w/.

I read about these criminal activities for a few years now thumbsdown.gif

I've encountered those "restaurant prison" once. While visiting Quangdong, China. I was invited in a small wooden shop for a drink. Oh. the views was something, although the place smelled with conspiracy .After finishing gulping down a nice fresh cup of orange juice, the little yellow bastard charged me a ridiculous price of 500 yuan which is about 72 dollars. He was cursing and screaming in Cantonese and in broken English: "You pay now!!! You pay!!" I gently replied " And what if I don't?" He was shrieking and screaming " I'll QQQQQ zyou!!!!!!!". From the corners of my watering eyes (because of all the pollution) I saw a shinny object slowly slipping out of a man's pocket as the man walked toward me. I immediately flip over the small wooden table, pick up a chair and bashed him in the head. That little guy was knocked unconscious and felt into the ground making a loud thud. Then about fifty men (although they look like women) came out with numb chucks, forks, chopsticks, pot and pans. Not going into too much details since it's too gory. It was a bloody battle(I didn't lose a single drop though) and they were all neutralized. A few survivors admired me so much they invited me to their home to fornicate women and drink tea. It was like the Last Samurai the movie, they welcome me to the tribe. Months later I left China coz the place smelled like $hit with all the industrial pollution and toxic waste being dumped near where I stayed. They felt sad when I left. The atmosphere was indeed gloomy. There is still a statue of me in front of the village. True story.

I heard similar story like this before... well at least not the one that FrankJaegerTheGrayFox was talking about.

I'm very disappointed you've never heard of my story. It happened 30 years ago and from then it was retold from people to people--the young to the old and vice versa. It's in the mind and heart of the Quandong people.

Kids these days...all they care about is playing game online instead of memorizing and learn my story. fu-king pink @$$ punks! (not you though you're cool since you heard my story)

This is the first time that I've heard of com tu in Nghe An because previously I've only heard about this somewhere along the route toward cities of Mien Tay Nam Bo or in Khanh Hoa.

My advice is avoid the highway leading toward Khanh Hoa for 2 reasons: fatal traffic accident is pretty high and com tu icon_twisted.gif

Hmmm. What are you implying, we laugh in the face of danger. Can't raise a nation of sissy. Go there and have some fun.

this clearly showed one of our weakness, our ability to rebel....
200 people allowed themselves to be controlled by a few individuals
like the Chinese back in the 19th century...
