well im a bit confused abt this "ethnicity" thing.

Born in Vietnam and living there for like 2 yrs is being "Vietnamese"? I'm not trying to bash anyone or anything...but like as far as I know, all my ethnic roots are Chinese. I mean I dont have problem to say Im Vietnamese, i do in real life...but come to think of it, where is the "connection"?

For example, I've lived like 20 yrs in Australia but you really cant walk down the street in Europe and say I'm Australian...if u define ethnicity as blood relations then ermmm I'm more Chinese than anything, if you define it by country of birth then Vietnam if you define it by adaptivity of number of years lived then Australia.

But it really doesnt make sense to me...
