i used to use this webiste http://www.zamzar.com/ to dl vids and songs from youtube but it doesnt work anymore. It either says the file is 0mb or that sometype of error had occured. Does anyone know any other site or program that I can use to take songs and vids off youtube?

If you use Firefox, you can try using one of the many extensions that allows you to download from sites such as youtube.

It's not youtube but the range of music available is fairly comprehensive. You'll need to download their proprietory software which is 4.4Mb but it seems to install and run fairly unobtrusively.

I used to download the videos with the realplayer downloader and then convert them to mp3 with freez converter, but it expired and I had to find a different way to do it.

you can easily rip video, music, from streaming music/video site using the "tube hunter" software.

if you need it, i can upload you the complete program..

RealPlayer 11 has a download button where you can download all live streaming vids.

I've been dl and taking vids off youtube and other sites for years without these fancy prgorams, you dont even need them, just go into your temporary internet folder once the video has finished streaming, its usally some long @$$ name, then just move it to where you can find it later and change the extension to .flv from there you convert it to whatever using the hundreds of prgrams out its so simple.

i ever used limewire to get music, but recently nothing worked for me. So now I'm scouring online trying to find those programs without having to pay for money? I'm finding links but they all lead somewhere else and for pay? i am finding this to copy youtube songs and then save them as mp3. it seems a bit complicated, actually works well.
