All finished last. The only one hasn't competed is Nguyen Van Hung.
Hung is competing on August 29th. Hope he gets a Taekwondo medal :"(

I think China is 1st in Beijing for sure biggrin.gif Haha I read somewhere that about 2000 Chinese gonna compete in Beijing 2008 (only 500 in 2004) + China is host biggrin.gif the power of great population number biggrin.gif

canada brought waaaaay less that usually and we sent 200... greece sent 400, so did america... that's already 1000.. only 3 countries... around 10,000 athletes compete... but yea, 2,000 is waaay too much... not fair. then in vancouver, we'll bring 5,000!

PS: aaw... benchwarming is cool.. it's the only way i can get on teams... *hides* lol.

I think that was the plan. China's athens Olympic team is 80% newbie and the average age is about 23. I've read in a couple newspapers that Athens was essentially to season them up in preparation for Beijing.

hmm.. we have over 30 millionpeople here.. just picking people off the streets should be okay... we could make entire heats made of canadians.. one of them's bound to get a medal.

That's impossible. Not anyone can just compete in the Olympics. You have the qualify for the Olympics first (at world championships). Eitherway the US always qualifies the most atheletes.

China only has about 350 atheltes at Athens I believe.
