a lot of people use PRETTY MODELS like her to make them look good for people in the internet.

They just take whoever's good looking. The site doesn't go around and research every pic to see if the chick's Viet or not then use it. They just use whatever's there.

K, i agree with you then. What part of her would you say looks Chinese? Since Emperor has a hard time, show him how you can tell I already gave my take, it's the eyebrows and positioning of the nose. Also the eyes are a bit odd... maybe a bit of plastic? But that probably has nothing to do with her being Chinese, just what i picked up (maybe she's just opening her eyes up really big, either way).

Fair skin wouldn't give it away. Way too many Viets have it. Atleast in north and central Vietnam. It's only uncommon in the south where most refugees come from (meaning the ones you probably know personally.

That wouldn't be the give away at all in my opinion. As a central Viet who knows exactly how central and northern Viets look, i can pledge that on my AF reputation.

It's called better airbrushing. 90% of all photos have it, it's just Viets are bad at it. You can tell by the quality of the pics. The Chinese girls pic can be put into a magazine, but the other ones look amateurish.

I doubt her skin is that perfect in real life. Like, how smooth is looks and such. To be honest they didn't make her skin look super light, she's not on the line of milky or anything.

She is not that good looking compared with her.

The Viet girl isn't bad, but how the photo is taken, how the lighting is and such, it's amateurish (either that or the guy's trying to be artistic). She would be a super knock out if they did the lighting better or something I'M NOT AN EXPERT, but that's my opinion. Just for the photo though...

I'd say northerners and centralers are more Viet, but that could be a biased statement considering i'm central

well actually id say they are more viet too(north and central) because they are more traditional, and actually chinese migrate more to southern vietnam, but you see SOME in every part of vn.

Considering the north is where the original Viets come from, and even the Muong come from, it makes sense

The first time I said "wow she looks cute" I thought she was Vietnamese. The second time I didn't read all the posts. Well I jumped to the second page of the thread because I thought that was where the latest posts were. Not recognizing many of you had already started questioning if she was Vietnamese, I saw some of you refer to the two pictures that Ming-Loyalist posted on the second page as Chinese picture, Vietnamese picture, etc. I was confused and wrote the above.

One of them is Ngo Thanh Van for sure. The only reason I thought the other girl was Vietnamese is the line "vietmedia.com.vn" on the picture. I had no other grounds. However, still, I think it is more likely that she is Vietnamese than she is not. Knowing that the piracy rate of IP in VN is very high, still I don't think an internet company can just randomly copy a picture from the website of any other internet company or from a magazine cover and put it on their website, where the whole world can look at it, without being complained for a long time. They can't get away with it. It's so easy to get caught. If it is a personal website, then it's a different story. This is my own opinion. Besides that, I have no idea.

She is cute, very cute anyway regardless of her ethnicity.
Those who are more interested in finding the correct answer can send the webmaster an email. He or she probably is the only one who knows where they got the picture from. I have no special interest in this.
