VietNamNet- The two-tower Vincom City, the biggest office building in Hanoi, will be opened on November 18, building owner Vincom JSC announced.

The 21-storey Vincom City is located at Ba Trieu Street, with a total floor area of 43,500sq.m. Leases are expected to average out around US$30/sq.m of floor space.

Vincom JSC General Director Kieu Dong Thien Ha said that the Vincom trade centre should allow companies to plug their products to customers in a more professional manner than at street-front shops.

Richard Leech, Director of the Hanoi branch of CB Richard Ellis, which will take on management of the towers, said that the tower would operate in the same model with Diamond Plaza and Saigontourist trading centre in HCM City.

Unlike other office buildings in Hanoi, Vincom City will be self-contained, so that office workers can work, relax and shop without having to venture into the unruly outside.

21 storeys isn't that much.

21 stories is an achievement in it's own, we'll catch to the world's top later.

I live near Toronto. I see the CN tower. Basically the largest Office building in Vietnam is 8 times smaller than the largest building in the world. Dude 1/8 the height of the CN tower is pretty small.

Yeah 21 storeys is nothing to boast about, even in Vietnam. I suspect Saigon's tax money is in there somewhere

Yea Byron , but the CN tower doesn't have individual floors, I think there's only 2 actual floors where people can go.. the Fat round part and the smaller round one..

maybe its short but very wide... like fat, lol... large doesnt mean tall, it can be just large.. lol.
