^ you should tell people that the first guy they see at the beginning of the video speaks northern accent
or else they'd think that he speaks southern from ur post

the guy at the beginning of the video = northern
the girl = northern
the first guy spoken in the interview = southern
the second spoken in the interview = north central or more standard vietnamese influenced.

You're right about their accents. The north central guy could be from Thanh Hoa/Nghe An area. Didn't you guys notice the southern guy has cambodian look.

The original Hanoi accent is spoken by Kha'nh Ly, the famous Vnmese singer. Most of people having that accent moved South in 1954.

I'd pick ThaiThanh's accent over KhanhLy's to be representative of HaNoi accent back then. I have aunt grew up and educated in Hanoi and her accent is similar to Thai Thanh. I like Linh Dan's accent too.

Both just have the same accent but Thai Thanh's tone is more acute.
