Miss World 2007 Fond Of HCM City


Chinese beauty Zhang Zilin, who has just been crowed Miss World 2007, once visited Vietnam for a fashion magazine photoshoot.

Before attaining the title of Miss World 2007, Zhang Zilin visited HCM City one May as a model. She later wrote about her trip on her blog.

It was very hot and the temperature sometimes reached 40oC, she related, and then, it suddenly rained hard. She explained that the unexpected weather required to always be equipped with an umbrella.

HCM City, in the eye of the Miss World 2007, was quite beautiful with its French architecture, which reminded her of Paris.

She spoke of her love of pho’s special taste and how she ate it daily for breakfast.

She was very surprised at the sight of so many motorbikes. Particularly the great diversity of motorbike drivers, including the old and the young; she remembers that most drove very fast, which was especially dangerous while it rained and the roads became wet and unsafe. The roads were always full of people and every street crossing was an act of courage.

Miss World 2007 wrote that she saw a nice little shop selling handbags and other accessories, all made in Vietnam.

Despite the hot weather and her busy schedule, which did not allow her to travel much, she had a great fondness for HCM City. The fruits were extremely sweet and juicy and she especially liked the watermelon.

The beauty regretted that only stayed for two days and she hopes to return once more.
