Shorti, now look. Black people created RAP. okay, now we copy the music but then sing in vietnamese..now what the heck?. that isn't sound right. You said why not I create my own style and my own music ? hey i'm not a composer or a musician. I'm just giving my opinion. You never lay an egg but you still know if the egg is good or not. I don't compose songs but i know copying is not right.

What do you mean by copying? Do you mean just rapping in Vietnamese in general? Or rapping over the exact same beats as some American song (that's called a "cover," man)? Or rapping over a song that has some American beats (that's called "sampling," which is what like 80% of rap songs are. And 100% of P. Diddy's songs, haha). I dunno. Never heard Viet rap.
I think the Taiwanese has some pretty good rappers, especially Terry Lee. But he might actually be Asian-American. The Koreans seem to really be into rap and R&B, so I guess they're the best at is for the Asians. I dunno. I think it's okay for them to rap in their language, as long as they're not also trying to be thugs and gangstas, and just rap about other stuff, like Nelly does, ya know? Pop rap, hehe...
Can someone name some other Viet rapper who's actually good? I wanna try and download.
And Enimem sux. He's just some comedic novelty.

everyone copies.. prolli half the songs out there are just copied as well.
It's mostly accepted isnt it.
Not all singers are composers, they might sing songs that are already composed.. like most viet rappers i add. so its not really all their fault they can't make up different song let alone style.
but maybbe somethin wrong with some viet rap is they DO try to sound like gangsta n stuff u kno. sounds fuNNee
but neway, i like korean rap better. sounds good..

viet rappin is orite...not countin spencer from asia 4 or derrik (nu guy) cos they rap in eng....
but full on viet rap...da onli 1 i'v herd of is Heart2exist cos they use 2 b wif asia ent.
i agree wif shorti...many songs these days are copied...like 50 cents songs...all his beat r kinda da same as eminems....If tomorrow never comes by Ronan Keating...dat was an old song, he jus put a remake on it....which is wat happens 2 most songs nowadays
but itz gud 2 xpand ur territory...viet pplz hav da rite 2 rap as well...we may not sound 2 gud but u cant say we'r shiet cos we're jus doin our part 4 viet pplz....

What is this fascination with rap among Asians nowadays? Does rapping make people appear "cool"? All it really proves is that you have no musical talent so you have to speak really fast, curse, and talk about horrible and oftentime illegal stuff to cover your shortcomings.

Rap is crap spelled without the C because rappers are too lazy to create any real music.
Hahaha...
But seriously, not all rap is bad, just about 99.5%. I know at least one or two rap songs I've heard of that I actually liked. But most just make it very hard to respect the so-called "musicians" as people because they express themselves as low-life "gangstahs".
