Vietnam's nightlife is really a disgrace. But then again, like i said, there are much worse.

Vietnam is known for Virgin girls (talked about this in two other threads already, might as well do it here too), so i'm guessing that on the overall level Viet girls are still pretty decent. Vietnam has one of the highest percentage of Virigins in the world, so it's not like all Viet girls are selling their bodies.

If you look at the AIDS statistics, you can honestly say that even though Saigon's night life is pretty dirty, it's not as dirty as Thailand's or even China's (places like Shanghai etc... the bigger more urban places). Most of Vietnam's spreading of AIDS is caused by drug use (needle sharing, recycling used needles etc...), as said by basically all the articles i've read about the AIDS problem in Vietnam. BUT, the girls are the factor for spreading it furthur, and i guess that's the drive for Bush's aid in Vietnam for fighting AIDS.

We're pissed here right? But atleast we can say it's isolated and not something that is affecting everything Vietnamese, from metro to farmhouse.

There is no denying that this dirty business is going on in Vietnam, but trying to defend these types of girls is ridiculous. There are plenty of jobs in Vietnam that you can earn a decent living.

There is little we can do to change this, however you could try by not supporting this idea is a common thing in Vietnam. Secondly, not go to Vietnam and fricken abusing our own people.
