Definitely not Cambodian. The only thing that resembles khmer (if at all) are the hand gestures in the dance. The clothes doesn't even look khmer.
XigonCongchua
so I guess it's Cham?
jose cuervo

I agree, although when they did try to do a Khmer style dance, they got it so wrong icon_neutral.gif. It's pretty cool though.

The song is about Đồng Tháp. I'm not sure whether Đồng Tháp was under Cham's territory or Khmer territory.

never mind the clothes. they're were designed by Paris by Night just for the show so I guess they're not supposed to be authentic.

Neither. It looks like they were trained by an Indian dance troupe.

XigonCongchua
i'm surprised that it's indian. i thought it was either cham or khmer.

Siamese, Lao, Burmese Mon, Shan and Khmer are indianized culture.

Looks like something from the ancient pre-Chinese colonization Dong-Son culture, by the way the patterns are on the clothing.
