Full Version: when you shop at the asian store do you try to buy made in VN ?

when you pick up some imported food, if it says imported from Vietnam, China, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, etc

do you put the other stuff back on the shelf and buy made in VN?

actually I only look for foods that I can eat, and tastes good and rarely look at the "made in ..."

Lol who buys products from the store like that? I just buy whatevers good. It doesn't matter what country the product was shipped from.

i just bought 5 packs of "Made in Vietnam" instant noodle instead of the "Made in China" and "Made in Thai" ones.

It would be awesome if I find something that is Vietnamese made by accident but to actively looking for Vietnamese made products is a bit crazy.

You just have to look around. Vietnam's textile industry is doing pretty well these days, I got a jacket made in VN, pretty good quality too. icon_smile.gif

I went shopping today and none of the thing I bought was made in China beerchug.gif I even bought a dress made in Vietnam biggthumpup.gif I also spotted two pretty snow-white jackets made in Vietnam also, one was $48 and one was $28, but so bad I couldn't afford them with my allowance icon_neutral.gif
