Full Version: Vietnam ranks 3rd at HCMC International Judo Cup

VietNamNet- Vietnam won one gold, nine silver, and 14 bronze medals, coming third at the International Judo Tournament - Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) Cup, which closed on Sunday.

Van Ngoc Tu, SEA Games defending champion, secured the only gold medal for Vietnam in the women's under 48kg category.

Japan took the first place with nine gold and four bronze medals, followed by the Republic of Korea - five golds, one silver and four bronzes.

The tournament attracted 133 judo athletes from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and host Vietnam.
