Khai Dinh was a tool. Other grand structures of the world was built by tyrants or by prominent leaders for a good cause. Khai Dinh didn't do $hit but enjoy his fancy puny life licking French asses. He doesn't deserve a tomb, it should be demolished and his body should be fed to the dogs.

Cool, I like the fourth picture..it has that miraculous mirage look. Like looking into a puzzle.

Look carefully at the 2 pictures above that one. That mirage picture(really a dragon picture) is everywhere in the background on those painted glass columns and walls.

He is one of the Emperor of Vietnams and under his rule, Western culture started to seep in. He seemed to be a Western lover.

Not just that. I don't care if he's a western lover if he was a Duy Tan. Duy Tan wanted to modernized Vietnam, this guy (Khai Dinh) didn't do anything besides kisses French @$$ and decorate himself with stupid looking medals. He had no intention of thinking for his people.
