Lately archeologists have unearth many objects and recover many architecture details of Hoang Thanh (Forbidden city of Thanh Thang Long). It was destroyed by floods, Chinese invaders, Nguyen dynasty, and the French.

When Vietnam is properous, do you think we should rebuild it again, like Korean people who totally rebuilt their royal palace which Japanese burned down?
DAI_VIET
Of course we should rebuild Thang Long, not just Thang Long, but the entire country from North to South, East to West.

I believe we should, its like a national treasure and part of our long history. Its somewhat analogous to Vietnam's state of being. When Vietnam is once again prosperous, the city will stand anew once more.
Nam Quoc Son Ha
I think we should reconstruct Thanh Thang Long and Tu Cam Thanh Hue. What's surviving should be restored while others which has been totally destroyed should be built anew with historical accuracy. The walls of Tu Cam Thanh Hue must also be resconstructed.

I think those money would be better spent building more hospitals and houses for the homeless.

When Vietnam is properous

it should put limitation to the number of "tourists" entering the country.

I think they should focus on rebuilding our country rather than some ancients site.

^that is true that we need to rapidly build a stable economy, but culture and history should be preserve to its fullest or else we lose parts of our identity

also the reasno we want a strong economy in the first place is to have some surplus to do such activities such as these excavations - anyways activits like this also help the economy - they provide jobs, enhance education, feed publishing houses, increase tourism, etc

its all good
