Deadly flash floods hit Vietnam
At least 28 people have died in flash flooding in Vietnam's mountainous north and another 20 people are missing, feared dead.

Le Minh Duc, an official from Ha Giang province's worst-hit Yen Minh district, said police and soldiers were continuing to search for the missing people but the chances of finding them alive were slim.

He says most of those killed and missing from the torrential rains that began on Sunday, were from two villages home to the Hmong and Tay ethnic minorities.

The rains have triggered flash floods and landslides and because they are continuing, they have complicated rescue efforts in the province, which borders China.

"We are continuing the search and we have sent personnel to isolated areas to find the bodies of the missing 20 people," Le Minh Duc said.

Yes that is exactly the problem. Thanks to heavy logging in the central region, the people there experience flash flood every year. Now they're trying to reverse the damage by planting trees.

Our ancestors weren't stupid when they chose Hue as the imperial capital. Hue in the old days was surrounded by trees, mountains and Perfume river - Non Nuoc Huu Tinh. I was also told that Hue has good Phong Thuy as well.

But look at it now... argggggg

yeah its pretty cool how capitals were chosen back then - personally i dont take phong thuy seriously, but i can relate to it cause its what you can call old skool intuition and definitely taste of landscape - Ha Noi was a good place to - the name Ha Noi says it all, also strategic standpoint to hold our borders

LOL same. Everytime I lay back and think about Vietnamese history, culture, traditions, food and other achievements, I get so high. LOL

feng shui is chinese, but the ideas of pickin a nice place for you empire is nothing new to any culture - so thats why i said i dont take it seriously but i relate to it

for example - our acnestors like having a body of water infront of the building complex for some reason i dont care - but to me i think its dope cause it looks dope and makes a peaceful front yard which has a physochological effect

i wouldnt say it sucks, but i wouldnt be a slave to it either - indeed there is crap in there like how you set up your kitchen, but not all of it is bad

Sometime, you just think good Phong Thuy will make you safe you know xD but if you really like that place but it's bad Phong Thuy you can just ignore it then
