I believe girls from the North are the prettiest of all Vietnamese girls. I guess because they I presume are all "giao chi" children still unlike other parts of Viet Nam which may have been infected by nguoi tau, khmer and the horrors of the saigon sun etc.

I am viet kieu and have seen the viet girls that are here in australia as well as the girls from top to bottom of viet nam. i noticed that girls from Hanoi are the prettiest. i apologise for for wanting to have a discussion about it.

also i am trying to help the profile of viet nam better itself by letting others know about how beautiful the pure kinh girls are. a lot of euro/asian people i know think that the vietnamese australian/american girls are pretty but i keep telling them there is so MUCH better still in viet nam.

The Kinh is considered one of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. According to theory, all 54 ethnic groups are guaranteed equal opportunity under Vietnam Law. However, in practice and reality, it is another matter. We need be thoughtful and restrain ourselves of mistreating each group over another. Yes, it is human nature to have bias and discrimination. However, we need to pay attention to this and reform our biased nature.

Putting that aside, here is video of a Vietnamese engagement party or a Vietnamese wedding party where there are 7 ladies and 7 gentlemen who are assisting the bribe and groom. These ladies are very beautiful and I am sure you will be mesmerized by these ladies.

I was in Vietnam last week and my cousin showed me his identity card and I was surprised that it has sections that list the ethnicity and religion of a person.

A little off topic, but one of the three North Vietnamese pilots that brought down a B-52 bomber is a Tay ethnic minority.

Anyway, I am a Kinh since both of my parent birth certificate said so, but I must wonder what would a kid be identify as if he or she is half?

If he is half, then my guess is that he would go by the ethnicity of his dad. I assume this because on the ID card it also lists the origin of my cousin's hometown, which is his dad's hometown instead of his mom's.

LOL.... Why is your hometown so important in this time and age. I mean people move at least two time in there entire life time.

What are the names of these three pilots? I am only aware of Pham Tuan who shot down a B-52 while flying a Mig-21. BTW, he is the first Asian astronaut orbiting the space with the former USSR.
