Asian foreign ministers have condemned the Taliban in Afghanistan for killing two South Korean hostages and demanded that 21 others be released immediately.

The statement has come from Manila at the end of annual security talks.

Almost 30 countries took part in the gathering of the ASEAN Regional Forum.

Meanwhile, negotiations to free the hostages are continuing with the Taliban reportedly agreeing to direct talks with a South Korean delegation.

The 21 South Koreans being held by the Taliban have begun their third week in captivity.

Most are said to be ill.

SoCal, what does it has to do with Singapore? And what is it with you and Koreans anyway? Geesh.

That's because SG has just taken over as the Chair of ASEAN fromthe Philippines!

These korean missionaries are naive and nuts to go into Afghanistan -- knowing full well that the Talibans are zealous fanatics and will use anything to get the Korean government to pull out of the 'crusade' in Afghanistan. If i were the korean government, i would freaken pull out of there and save these souls.

Say I'm evil but the Koreans should know better. They shouldn't be there in the first place. It is stupidity that led them to their current situation. No one is to be blame. I hope they come back safe but it should be a great lesson for them.

I hate the talibans but i also hate the proselytizers. I still hope them safety though...
