The Raja Muda of Perak Raja Dr Nazrin Shah said the fight against corruption should see good governance with figures in authority being qualified for such positions.

He said the corrupt should be held in contempt by society.

"Those with a chequered past or clear evidence of questionable morality should be prevented from taking office.

"There should be zero tolerance for corrupt practices," and this is also concurred by Raja Petra Kamaruddin....

Well said Raja Nazrin and Raja Petra........ biggthumpup.gif

i think if malaysia rule by the king is much more better than democracy, PM dont listen to other people thoughts while Kings do listen to people thoughts, even now anything that king going to do is been advice by people around him. but no-no to current agong system which the king only have 5 years to rule the kingdom which make the gov more powerful.

I disagree, looking back through history you see the oppressive regimes by absolute monarchs. At least in a democracy the members of parliament are held acccountable every 4 years, with kings, they are not held accountable at all. I like the westminister system where the monarch oversees the govnt but does not interfere with the daily runnings of the country.
