last fall, i went on a tour there as well and even met the multi-millionaire owner.
you know what's funny?
that park has an atmosphere of affluence - intricate designs, golden statues, so gigantic. but it seems so out of place there in binh duong. the surrounding area is so poor.
and that's a HUGE contrast between the park and surrounding area and you notice that right away after you exit the park premises.
by the way, when i stepped up the slope behind the gates and saw the big pool, fountain, and building i was totally AWESTRUCK by the hugeness of the place. the view is breath taking.
