What ever happen to Lon Nol when he left Cambodia?
I think he exiled in the United States (San Francisco, CA). He is long gone now.
Lon Nol was given a million dollars when he arrived in the states. He died in the mid 80's.

Here is another written biography of Lon Nol. Just like Thay and PraChanMouy said, Lon Nol is in fact a history now. According to the article below, it says that Lon Nol died since 1985. Since then 19 years have passed. Why are you interested in learning about him?

Lon Nol was born on November 13, 1913 in Prey Veng province. He was a long time social servant first under the French colonial administration and later under Sihanouk. Because of his loyalty to Sihanouk, Lon Nol was assigned various important portfolios within the Sihanouk regime, including chief of police, governor, command-in-chief and minister of defense and prime minister twice from 1966 to 1967 and again in 1969.
In 1970, as Prince Sihanouk’s hold on power began to slip, Lon Nol with hesitation, collaborated with Prince Sisovath Sirik Matak to overthrow Sihanouk in a coup d’etat, abolishing the monarchy and declaring Cambodia a republic with himself as the president. Lon Nol lived there until 1979 and then moved to California where he died in November, 1985.

I have read so many history about him but history never mention where he left to during the crisis. Thank you so much for the history lesson.
The Lonol history as like Bruce Lee's...Both of them were killed by the poisionning of chemical!!! But hey!! I would love the way of Lonol actioned...If he is still alive our beloved country is free dom and dignity....Have no VC regime leader and run politic in our country...But then, who was a person put a poisioning to him???
Lon Nol and Bruce Lee died from chemicals? Where do you get your facts from?
