Day.One

I let out a yawn while I was copying the notes from the blackboard. Everyone in the class was talking to each other because the teacher had gone home earlier due to some private matters.

You’ll probably think why I’m not talking in class right, and instead I’m copying the notes? Well, first of all I’m not a nerd!
I’m just doing this to get my grades higher seeing that my last result was quite ‘poor’

After I finished with copying the notes, I saw that Soo Jin was playing with her cell phone with a smile on her face. I wonder why she’s so happy.

I went to her desk and asked her: “Why are you so happy? Got a sms from your lover boy?”
She looked at me and smiled again. “Why do you sound so mad? Is there something wrong?”

“Yea you bet! It’s you who’s ruining my life with this stupid boyfriend exchanging plan!”

That was what I wanted to say, but I can’t do that to her since she is my best friend after all.

I let out a sigh. “I still can’t believe that your boyfriend and mine had agreed. Are you guys plotting behind my back?!”
She putted her arms around my neck. “Why would we do that Yae Rin?”

I brushed her arm away from my neck. “Well, let me think. OH, because no idiot on earth would agree to this absurd plan!” I replied sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

Soo Jin wanted to reply back, but school was over, I could hear it from the stupid loud bell. Everyone screamed and ran away quickly as I walked slowly with Soo Jin towards the school gate.

I stared at the ground and yelled. “Soo Jin! I don’t even know your boyfriend except his name”
“Well, since we’re playing this ‘game’ for 1 month, go ahead and ask everything about him” She pushed me, almost causing me to bump against someone. I looked up and saw my boyfriend Min Hyuk with a smile on his face, showing his cute dimples and next to him it was Soo Jin’s boyfriend, Jae Woo. And next to Jae Woo…there was a scary looking bulldog.

Jae Woo’s expression was cold and he had black messy hair, with a lot of piercing in his left ear. His face was pale but he has a perfect jaw line compared to all other guys I’ve seen. His lips were soft and had a mixture of pink and red. It almost seems that he has a kissable lip. His uniform were untucked and his tie was loosened. In his right hand, he held a cigarette.

Damn it, he is a king ka type. T_T From what I see in drama’s they usually have a bad personality and are very cold towards people. Let me test it out to see if it’s true...

“Hi” I said and gave them a sweet smile.
“Don’t smile, it’s hideous” Jae Woo replied bluntly as he looks away.

Gah, it’s my first time meeting him, but I’m already hating him. Wow, this proves that drama's are right. o.o

“Hi” Min Hyuk said as he flashed me a smile.
Soo Jin walked away. “Hey Min Hyuk, ready to go?” She yelled.
“Sure” He went to Soo Jin and talked with her, but I couldn’t hear what they were saying.
“Wait!” I yelled out.

Both of them turned around and face at me.

“Why did you agree to this stupid plan, Min Hyuk?” I asked.
He paused awhile and smiled. “To see if we can stand it without seeing each other for one month” He resume his walking with Soo Jin.

I trust you Min Hyuk. Please don’t cheat on me with other girls during the one month…

“Your name is Kim Yae Rin, right?” He asked me and inhaled his cigarette.
“Yes, why?” I replied back without looking at him.
He sighed. “Such a waste…a beautiful name given to a ugly girl like you”
I glared at him. “Shut up”

Who does he thinks he is? King of the world?! Pffft, yea right.

Suddenly his bulldog barks at me which caused me to back off a bit. It looked like it could attack me any moment.
I’m scared. ><
He chuckled, bend down and stroke his bulldog. “She doesn’t likes it when people yell at me”

You know, in drama there’s always a ‘perfect girl’ falling in love with a king ka and they give other girls the impression ‘back off, he’s mine’ And this is what his bulldog is exactly doing. I wonder if it’s a fan girl in disguise.

“Whatever, I got to go. I‘m going to buy something” I said as I move away from him.
He followed me. “Which is? A brain perhaps?”
I stopped and stomped on the ground but I could hear his bulldog barking again.
“I got enough of your stupid barking!” I said as I look down.

Uh-oh…this doesn’t looks too good...

Day.One – Chapter 2

I mean…this is TOTALLY not RIGHT!

PEED AT MY LEFT SHOE!

I looked at his bulldog and my shoe full with disgust. I could hear that bastard laughing his @$$ off in front of me. T_T

I carefully took my shoe off and held it up with my thumb and my index finger. I aimed my left shoe at Jae Woo while he was still laughing.

“Ready, set, go!” I said softly, without causing Jae Woo to notice what I was doing.

I threw my shoe with all my strength, hoping that it would hit him.

And it was…




















GOAL!!!

Yes! I did it! Playing darts for 3 years did come out handy after all.

I jumped up and down and did a victory dance with a ‘V’ sign in front of him. As I was having my time of my life, I could see that Jae Woo was angry. This doesn’t looks good for me…

I stopped dancing my victory dance and ran away with my left foot without a shoe, and my right foot with a shoe. It feels awkward. =_=

I could hear some footsteps behind me and I was sure that it belonged to Jae Woo. I ran away as fast as I could, but he caught up at me when we arrived to a mall. A mall that was crowded with various people from different ages.

He grabbed my shoulder with his left hand, while we both were panting heavily.

I know, my condition isn’t good, but so is his! HAHA, WHAT A SUCKER! I mean…a guy should have better condition than a girl right? It serves him right. Who call him to smoke in the first place?

“You’re going to die today” He said, still catching some air to breath properly.

Me? But I’m way too young to die! T_T

Without thinking twice, I yelled out “HELP! HE’S TRYING TO RAPE ME!”
Everyone was looking at me with widened eyes, including Jae Woo himself.

Some girls were whispering to each other, or at least they thought they were: “He can rape me anytime!” They giggled like 5 years old kids and gave Jae Woo a ‘seducing’ wink.

Ewww, my virgin eyes!

I decided to just pull out a scene for the people to watch, hoping that it will get me away from Jae Woo.

I faced Jae Woo and covered my uniform with my arms. “Oppa! I already told you that I’m not interested in you!” I pretended to stuttered and looked frightened to make this scene ‘real’

People were whispering to each other and some even shot a glare to Jae Woo.

He gritted his teeth. “Oh my god, can’t you guys see that this is obviously fake? Why would a HOT looking guy like me bother to rape an UGLY girl like her?”

But no one believed him! I think that my acting skills are WAY too good or these people are just dumb. o__o

“Wait…he might have a point. But, that girl isn’t ugly at all” A guy said unsurely.

I bit my lip. I didn’t want to give in that this was all fake so I decide to end it.

I glared at Jae Woo. “For the 1000x times, I’m not for sale so leave me alone!” With those words, I left, pushing the people who were blocking my way as I pretend to fake cry.

When I was finally out from that crowd, I could hear those people giving Jae Woo lectures.

Yay, I made it out ALIVE!

Rule Number Two From Drama: The main character always get out alive from the hands of the mean guy. Well at least the first time. Wait…does that means I’ll die if I see him again? AHHHH, THAT CAN’T BE! >_<

But…the main character will never die right? I guess that gives me 50% chance to die and 50% chance to live if I see him the next time?

After running for quite a while, I decided to stop and walked the rest of the trip to home. My legs were tired and I’m out of energy. I wonder if I could make it home. >_<

I stare at the blue sea sky, wondering what Min Hyuk is doing. Is he having fun without me…? Even though we’ve only parted for a few hours, I’m already missing him.

Soon my thoughts were being disturbed by a barking sound. I turned around and saw that it was HIS freaking bulldog!

Damn it, how dare he?! Sending his bulldog after me while he knows that I’m out of energy. T_T

While his bulldog was chasing me, I kept on yelling like a maniac, hoping that someone would help me. But those bastards that were passing by either laughed, pointed at me or took a picture.

But luckily those damn people doesn’t know that I have a great memory! I will take revenge on them someday, HAHAHHAHAHAHA!

If I can still remember…

As I laughed with my eyes closed, I tripped on a rock which caused me to fall over. But the ground isn’t hard at all! In fact, it was soft...

Day.One - Chapter 3

I opened my eyes and saw that my head was between someone’s boobs/breast?! I quickly take a step away and looked at the person who saved me from falling on the ground. It was actually a ‘big’ guy dressing female clothes. o__o His face was wrinkled, it was full with make up and his lip was cherry red. He had two ear piercing with a cross sign on it. His hair looks like a wig…I think…This guy is awfully weird and scary. >_<

What do you call this kind of person…? Oh yes, the word transvestite fits this guy!

“You scared the hell out of me dude!” I said, backing off a bit.
“Dude? Silly girl, I’m a female, just like you” He said, trying his best to ‘imitate’ a female’s voice.
“Nu-uh! Why would a female have a Adam’s appel?” I asked and pointed at it.
He grabbed me by my uniform collar. “Listen missy! I’m a female whether you like it or not! Got a problem with it?!” His ‘feminine’ voice changed in to a rough voice, which scares me. T_T

I nodded as I shrug.

He released the grip of my collar. “Good” He said as he patted my head with his manly, I mean feminine hands.

“So how did you get your hair so smooth, darling?” He asked with a feminine voice, while touching a few locks of my black hair.

AHHH! He’s touching my hair with his filthy hands!

“Uh…secret” I said, looking a bit frightened.
“Oh girl, you can tell this Unni here right?” He asked again and smell my hair. “Strawberry shampoo?”

I took back the few locks of my hair with my right hand. “Yes…strawberry”

In this current situation, I would rather die by Jae Woo’s hand than hanging out with this transvestite. T___T

“Aww, why are you so quiet, my dear?”
I looked up and gave him a nervous smile. “Uh…”

Then, I could feel someone grabbed my shoulder from behind. Both of us faced at the person. It was NOT Jae Woo. I know that the most people are predicting that it’s Jae Woo.

It was a good looking guy. Wait, I mean a HOT guy! I’m saved by a hot guy!

“Honey, where did you go?” He asked me, while looking sad.

Wait, WHAT?! Is this some kind of joke?! T___T

My eyes widened. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about” I said as I stuttered.
“Are you still mad at me because of the incident?”
“Aww, how cute. A couple!” The transvestite guy butted in our conversation without hesitation.
“We’re not a couple!” I yelled.
The transvestite guy licked his lips “No need to be shy. I mean…he is hot”
The hot guy pushed me into his arms. “Yes, we are a couple. She’s just shy, don’t mind her” He laughed.

I was fighting to get out of his grip. Darn, he‘s strong! Or maybe I‘m just weak.

“Well, we’ll be going now!” The hot guy says as he smiled.
“Aww, darling, if you need me, call me anytime okay?” The transvestite guy handed me a plain looking business card which contains his name, address and phone number.

I gave him an awkward smile. I was being dragged away by this hot guy and Jae Woo’s bulldog was behind, following us. >_<
Soon, after walking for 5 minutes, we were out of sight from the transvestite guy.

“Let me go you jerk! I don‘t even freaking know you!” I said as I bit his arm.

He flinched, loosened his grip and stopped walking.

“What the hell? Are you stupid or something?! I was just saving you from that psycho” He yelled.

What…? He was saving me from the transvestite guy by making a scene? bubble gum, making a scene is my specialty.

“Sorry…” I said as I bow.
He let out a sigh. “No need to be that formal. Where do you live?”
“Somewhere, duh! Do I look like I‘m that poor to live in a box?”
“Look, I don’t have time for games. I‘m almost late for a meeting, so just tell me okay?”

I give up.

“Fine…I live in xxxxx - xxxxx street”

During our trip to my house, no one spoke. And it was a LONG trip too! Instead of talking, he just dragged me to my house. When we arrived, it was already late. The light of my house were still on, so I’m guessing that Oppa is home.

I waved him goodbye as he walks away from my house. “What’s your name?” I yelled.
He turned back and gave me a smile. “Seung Min, and yours?”
“Yae Rin!” I yelled again, hoping that he could hear it.

Soon, his sight weren’t visible anymore as I opened the door with my key. But I was forgetting something! Yes, Jae Woo’s bulldog! >_<

I looked around panicky and saw his bulldog, waiting at the steps. I felt sorry for it, even though she did peed on my shoes and chased me around. But, it’s cold outside and Jae Woo would probably kill me if I just let it freeze to death.

I opened the door for the bulldog and wait till she went in first. I closed the door behind me and hear some people’s voice, talking to each other.

“I’m home!” I yelled.

Soon 2 people came out from the kitchen and welcomed me with a hug. It was my Yoon Jung Oppa and Sol Ji Unni.

“So, who’s dog is it?” Oppa asked me, while pointing at it.
“It’s my friend’s dog. It followed me all the way home, so I decided to let it stay over for one day” I sighed.
Unni patted at my head. “That’s nice from you, but only for one day”
I nodded and gave them a tiny smile.

Since my Umma and Appa passed away, I only have my Oppa and Unni. Both of them are trying to replace Umma and Appa, and it’s working perfectly fine.

“AHHHHHH! Help” I heard someone yelling.

I looked around and saw that it was Oppa, with Jae Woo’s bulldog. His bulldog was licking Oppa’s face and followed him everywhere where he went…

“Stop” I commanded the dog, but it barks back.

Unni tried to get a grip of the dog too, but instead it barks at her too. Only Oppa could calm her. o___o

I finally found out that this dog….
Is actually a pervert!

I mean why would it bark at girls only and stay calm at guys?

Oppa held the bulldog in his arms, called me to go my room as he followed me. When we were there, he dumped Jae Woo’s dog in my room…T___T

He ordered me to sleep and locked my door. HOW THE HELL CAN I SLEEP IF THE DOG KEEPS BARKING?!

And this is how the first day went...I think that I'm going to get a head ache...

Day.Two - Chapter 4 - Part One


You would not believe what happened tonight! Did I make you curious?

If not, I’m not going to tell you what happened.

Well, around 1 am I suddenly had the urge to pea so I went to the bathroom and opened my room’s door wide open. Apparently, Jae Woo’s bulldog slipped out from my room and found Oppa’s room. This dog is really something…

Oppa came in my room with Jae Woo’s bulldog and yelled at me. He said that he was having a dream, kissing some girl and…well he kissed the bulldog while dreaming. So that’s why he’s giving me a silent treatment now. =_= It’s not like I purposely putted Jae Woo’s dog in his room! Oh well, the good thing is that I don’t have a headache!

Right now, I’m searching for my school uniform, but I can’t seem to find it. I walked towards the bathroom and saw my uniform lying at the bathtub.

Who putted it there?! T_T

I could smell a disgusting air hanging around my uniform. I went closer and saw a note, near my uniform. I picked it up and read it out loud.

“Yae Rin,
Even though I’m giving you a silent treatment, I can still write notes right?
Well, Oppa really didn’t enjoy the prank that you pulled out. I MEAN, how dare you to put a dog near me?!
Anyways, let’s get to the point.
Because you pulled a prank on me, it’s payback time.
Your friend’s bulldog wanted to pea, but it was dark outside. And you know that Oppa is scared when it's dark right? So, instead on going outside, Oppa decided to let the bulldog pea at your uniform.
I’m nice aren’t I? No need to thank me. It was my pleasure. Enjoy your day at school Yae Rin!
I love you!

I stare at the note with widened eyes. OH MY GOD!

HE IS SO DEAD!

I ran to down stair and yelled for Oppa. But instead, I found Unni, sitting alone while she eats cereals for breakfast.

“Unni, where’s Oppa? I need to kill him!” I yelled furiously.
“Calm down Yae Rin. Yoon Jung has already left for school, why?”

My life is totally over now…He…he left…and I’m stuck…with a uniform…with the smell…of…pee…I think I need to lie down for awhile…

Day.Two – Chapter 4 – Part 2



There is NO way I’m going to school with this uniform. I would rather die than to go school like this. That reminds me…where’s Jae Woo’s bulldog?! I look like a freaking babysitter don’t you think? T_T

“Unni, did Oppa take the bulldog with him?” I asked, while calming down a bit.
“No, but the bulldog almost followed him to school” She said, taking a morsel from her cereals.
“Then where in the world is the bulldog?!” I yelled panicky.
“Well, I dumped it at our basement. But, I think it’s a good idea to put it in your room, I mean it’s your friend’s bulldog after all. That reminds me, when is he/she going to pick the bulldog?” She asked, staring at me while I turned my head the other way.
“Today, he’ll come today” I said and bit my lip.

At least I hope he’ll come. =_= But on the other hand…Jae Woo doesn’t know where I live! >_< Does that means I have to go to school…?

She jumped out from her seat. “A guy?! Don’t tell me you’re cheating on Min Hyuk!”
I stared at her dumfounded. “No, why would I cheat on him? Geez, you watch too many dramas” I said as I rolled my eyes.

“Whatever, it’s time for school. Pick up the bulldog and put it in your room, okay?”
“Fine, fine. By the way, can you wash my uniform for me Unni? There’s a pee stench all over it.” I said as I walked away.
She nodded and continue to eat.

I hope she doesn't think that I peed on my uniform...

Well, for those of you who wonder about Sol Ji Unni, she dropped out from school and work full time as a waitress in a restaurant to provide us food and living. It must be tough for her, but luckily Yoon Jung Oppa work part time as a model, so we’ll survive. And as for me, I don’t work. =_=

I took the step and walked to the basement. I turned the doorknob from left to right and opened it. It was dark, so I opened the light by turning on the switch. I could see Jae Woo’s bulldog sleeping peacefully at a mattress.

It looks so cute when she’s sleeping! >_<

I placed my arms carefully over her and held her like a baby. I walked away from the basement and went to my room. When I arrived, I putted her at my bed and put the blanket over her.

The bulldog looks like an angel at this moment. Weird right, one moment she‘s an angel, and the other she‘s an devil? I bet Jae Woo fed her up as a devil.

I walked out from my room and closed my door softly, in case she might wake up. I walked to Oppa’s room and examine his room. Nothing changed, so I think I can find his stuffs if he didn’t rearranged it.

Now it’s time for sweet revenge! What shall I do…?

1) Humiliate him by showing his friends ’Buzzy’ the bee! It’s his plushy bee that he had since he was 2..
2) Dump all his clothes and donate it to charity or better yet…burn it!
3) Steal his cell phone that he forgot to take before going to school! HAHA SUCKERRRR!

I think I know which to pick…*Laughs mischievously*
But why only pick one while I can pick all three of it? Prepare to DIE Kim Yoon Jung!

I took his cell phone and opened his mail box. He had a lot of messages, especially from girls as I could see. Those were probably his girlfriends, all love craps.

I rolled my eyes and decide to check his phone number list. Wow, he had like around 60 phone numbers stored in his cell phone, but did I see this good? I rubbed my eyes and looked again. He doesn‘t have my cell phone number?! I’m going to teach this jerk a lesson.

I deleted all his contact’s phone numbers, which took me quite a time and only saved my cell phone number in it. He deserves it right? If you say no or shook your head, I’m going to hunt you down!

Now to find Buzzy….Where oh where is my dear little Buzzy? I think he probably hid it under his pillow, like he always did when he was small.

I walked to his bed and checked if Buzzy was underneath his pillow. And bingo, he is! He’s so predictable.

Okay the next step is to dump his clothes. I walked to his closet and opened it.

OMG, he had A LOT of clothes! What kind of guy BUYS so many clothes? I don’t think I can dump all of this…so I’ll scrap that idea. >_<

Too bad though, I really would had enjoyed to give away all his clothes.

Next step: To humiliate Oppa at school.
How?: Tell everyone Oppa’s biggest secret a.k.a Buzzy the bee
Where: At his school DUH!
Extra: Die die die die die!

Day.Two - Chapter 5

I took Buzzy with me and walked straight away to the step. Every move that I made, the step cracks. Was I that fat? =_=

When I came downstairs, Unni was reading a newspaper and mumbled some things that I couldn’t hear.

“Halt, where do you think you’re going missy?” She said, while still looking at her newspaper.
“To kill Oppa” I said in a sing-song voice.

Her face met mine and suddenly she laughed.

“What?” I replied confusingly.
She covers her mouth with her left hand. “N-nothing”

“Whatever, I’m going now! Have fun at the restaurant!” As I said those words I opened the door in front of me.

“Careful Yae Rin, I love you!” She yelled out loud, loud enough for me to hear.

I closed the door and ran as fast as I could to his school. His school wasn’t that far from our house, so I’ll arrive around 10 minutes later if my calculations are correct.

The only thing that I could think of is taking my sweet revenge. Nothing can stop me now, MUAHAHAH!

My long silky black hair was being fluttered by the wind. I tried my best to keep not let them fly, but the wind was too strong after all. I think that my hair would be a total mess if I arrived at his school.

Oh well, whatever! REVENGE!

When I arrived at his school, I panted heavily. I leaned on his school’s wall and tried to catch some air. I pushed the school gate and they opened for me.

I smiled satisfied and took the first step. But I could hear the loud noise of the bell suddenly.

Lunch time I think? Great, more audience to laugh and point at Oppa.

I could see a lot of people coming towards the school gate, some were walking peacefully without any rush, while the others were running like a group of hungry cheetahs. =_=

It was hard to locate where Oppa is hiding at because there were too many people blocking my view.

I decided to walk to find him and I noticed that some people were trying their best not to laugh as I passed by them.

What’s wrong with them? Never saw a girl before? I doubt it, since Oppa’s school has girls too or else he would had never gone to this school.

When I arrived at the canteen, those people were laughing at me too. I grabbed the collar of the nearest guy who was laughing at me and shot a glare to him.

“What are you laughing at, punk?!” I yelled at him and spit at his face.

He was shocked, but didn’t do anything else than wiping his face with his uniform sleeve.

“Nothing” He replied calmly.
“Whatever, do you know where Kim Yoon Jung is?” I asked while released the grip of his collar.

He nodded and pointed towards a table where a lot of people are sitting there while smoking.

I pushed the guy aside and walked towards the table.

“Uh hum” I said as I let out a cough.

Everyone’s attention was focused at me, including Yoon Jung Oppa. But the weird thing is that…

Jae Woo is sitting near Oppa. o__o
Soon, everyone who is sitting in the table burst in laughter except Jae Woo. He stood up and placed his blazer around me, but I decline his offer.

He picked his blazer up from the ground. “Are you a f-cking retard?! Why the hell are you wearing your pajama’s and why does your hair looks like a bird nest?!” He yelled out loud and inhaled his cigarette.

Wait…what?! Pajamas?

I look at myself and indeed, I saw my self, wearing a duck print pajamas while holding Buzzy…

Oh my god, this is so humiliating.

“Are you doing this on purpose? You don’t even know how much I’ve gone through yesterday. First of all after you left, I received a lot of lectures from the old geezers. And as if it’s not bad enough, they decided to call the police to arrest me. I had to spend more than 50 minutes to explain to them, but they refused to believe me because I stole quite a lot in the past”

He ruffled his hair with his fingers and paused a bit. Everyone in the canteen were eavesdropping on our conversation.

I smiled nervously. “Uh…then what happened?”
“Oh, they locked me up in a room and I had to wait till my Umma came and convinced the police”
“Wow…quite interesting”

I was stunned, I didn’t knew that he had gone through a lot of troubles. And I thought that mine was worst.

“What?! “Quite interesting” At least you could show some sympathy to me and apologize, but no, miss perfect just had to be a heartless creature” He said in an exaggerated tone.

“What the…no way that I’m going to say sorry to you. It sucks to be you, but I didn’t came all the way here for you” I said as I passed him.

I walked towards Oppa’s table and slammed my fist at the table. Everyone was shocked but nonetheless they looked at me.

“Yah, Kim Yoon Jung! How dare you to do this to me?!” I yelled out loud and glared at him.

There were whispers everywhere, including in this table.

“What are you doing?!” Jae Woo asked, trying to drag me away from the table, but I struggled to get free from his grip.
“None of your business”
“Give me your cell phone” Jae Woo commanded and reached out his hand.

I slapped his hand away. “Why would I give it to you?”
He glared at me and sighed. “Because that way you can contact me without coming to my school and embarrassed me in public” He whispered at my ear.

“I already told you, I didn’t came here for you! And why would I bring my cell phone with me when I’m wearing a pajama? smart @$$”
“Aish, you are hella annoying”

I shot a glare at him, but he turned the other way.

“Does anyone have a pen here?” He shouted to the crowd.

Girls were throwing their pens to Jae Woo and some of it even hit his head. He rubbed his head and he looked quite mad. He randomly picked a pen that was thrown by the girls and came to me.

“Paper” He said.

Paper? Does he means that he wants a paper?

“I don’t have a paper” I replied calmly.

He snatched Buzzy away from me and began to write his number on it. Halfway while Jae Woo was writing, Oppa stood up.

“Yah, why are you writing your number on a plushy doll? Write it down at her hand or something” Oppa said, looking a little bit mad.

Jae Woo stopped with writing. “No, she might wipe it away so I’ll just write it here. Besides, this isn’t yours”

“Well, you are wrong because the plushy bee belongs to me” Oppa said and snatched Buzzy away from Jae Woo’s grip.

Day.Two - Chapter 6

The guys were laughing at Oppa while the girls stares with him dreamy eyes and squealed like fan girls. Oh wait, they are HIS fan girls.

His friends who were sitting in the table looked at Oppa with their jaw dropped. They were too shocked for words and didn’t touched their food while they keep on eavesdropping our conversation.

“Hyung, that plushy bee must be a gift from your girlfriend right? And that girl over there must be her” One of his friends at the table said as he points at me.

WHAT?! No way!

The guys stopped laughing and this time the girls were shocked. I just stood there with widened eyes, not knowing why he said that I was his girlfriend.

Oppa placed his arms around my neck. “Of course! Even though it’s an stupid gift, I must be happy right since it came from my girlfriend?” He smiled widely, while I leered at him.

Oh my god.
What the hell does he thinks he’s doing?!

“What do you think you’re doing?” I whispered at him.

I released his arms from me and glared at him. “Just play along please? If not the guys will laugh at me” He whispered back.

“Ah I forgot, she dislike it when people touch her” Oppa said to the crowd and laughed nervously.

“What do I get if I play along?” I whispered again.

He whispered “I’ll become your slave for a week” but I refused to do it. I would love to see him suffer and all, but something tells me not to do it.

Jae Woo laughed, but stopped suddenly while he walks towards me. “So you’re two-timing on me? Seriously, you’re the first girl who has ever done that” He took out a cigarette and a lighter from his pocket, lit it up and inhaled the cigarette.

I shook my head. “No, no! I’m not two-timing on you!” I said quickly, hoping that he wouldn‘t misunderstand me.

Oppa pouted and look at me with a sad expression. “Does that means that you were lying all this time, saying that I am the one for you?”

I glared at Oppa with my I’m-going-to-kill-you look. “Damn it, stop twisting the scene Oppa! I’m the one who should be mad at you!” I yelled while I hit his stomach with my elbow.

He winced in pain as he lies on the ground rubbing his stomach. He glanced at me and I could see that his eyes were dark.

His fan girls were all in anger mode, but Oppa called them to back off and they listened to him. But deep down inside I could tell that they wanted to kill me for hurting the King ka of the school.

“Ohh wow, she got two boyfriends?! And omgosh, the guys are fighting over her! This looks exactly like a drama!” The same guy who covered for Oppa said as he gasped.

What the…is he a guy or a girl? Since I don’t know any guys who love to watch drama’s except Oppa sometimes…

“We’re not a couple!” I looked at him furiously and showed him my fist. He backed off and kept quiet the during time.

Oppa stood up and brushed the dust from his uniform. “We are, stop denying it” Oppa said in a soft tone, staring at the ground while he bit his lips.

He was trying to hold the laughter, seeing that he’s biting his lips. It’s one of his habit.

The fan girls were causing a riot in the background and some of them even cried, since they thought that I was Oppa’s girl friend.

“Yah, Kim Yae Rin. Why does he says that you’re his girlfriend then?” Jae Woo pointed at oppa while still looking at me.

I laughed, as if I was watching a comedy show or something. When I saw Jae Woo’s angry expression, I stopped.

“Hahahhaha, it’s a funny story. I’ll tell you later” I tried to convince him and laughed again, but his expression remains the same.

I fake coughed and then there was silence in the whole canteen. Jae Woo frowned and went closer to me while I keep on walking a step back till I was being stopped by the school wall.

Everyone rushed like there was no tomorrow and circled around us. I was trapped!

“Break up with Yoon Jung” He scowled.

I gulped, not knowing what to do and remain silent.

Jae Woo placed his right hand on the wall, near my face and our eyes met. My heart thumped rapidly and it felt as if I was getting strangled by a person because I couldn’t get enough air to breath properly. But it was the work of his magnificent eyes.

“Break up with Yoon Jung and after the one month, I’ll let you be with him again. But for now, you’re mine”

I wanted to respond, but he placed his finger on my lips, not wanting me to talk. Before I could tell what he was planning to do, he placed his lips on mine while the whole crowd had witnessed our first kiss together.

Day Two. Chapter 7




I answered his kiss, but soon I came back to my senses and pushed him away. I gave him a hard slap on his cheek, while my heart keeps on thumping with an abnormal beat.

Wait, hold on, I can't possibly like Jae Woo right? No I can't, he is Soo Jin's boyfriend after all.

Kim Yae Rin, you're crazy if you like this guy over there. Think straight, you know better than this, was what my mind told me.

I touched my lips and wiped it with my pyjama's sleeve, while I tried my best to avoid Jae Woo' gaze.

Am I cheating on Min Hyuk? Should I tell him about this incident? Those were the questions that were rushing through my mind, but I can't find an answer to reassured myself. Either way, I have to choose to tell him the truth or remain silent about it.

Some people were taking out their cell phone to capture this moment as Oppa made his way through the crowd, searching for me.

"What the hell do you think that you're doing?" Oppa said coldly and leered at Jae Woo.

He was furious of the fact that Jae Woo kissed me. He gave him a punch on his face with his right hand, causing Jae Woo to have a bruise and on his left hand he was still holding on to Buzzy. Oppa grabbed me away from the crowd and we both ran away while Jae Woo just stood there, middle in the crowd, where the people are gasping, and with a bruise on his cheek.

Jae Woo must have felt hurt, I mean, Oppa is his best friend after all. But there was still one thing that I don't get, does he really like me or is he just fooling around?

There were at least 30 students who were running to catch us up and asked us several questions like: "Are you really two-timing on Jae Woo?!" or "How did you seduce those 2 guys?" which was quite irritating. But there were also some of Oppa's fan girls running behind us, wanting to beat me up. I could see that in their eyes.

Oppa gave me the signal to run away as fast as I could with him to shake his school mates off when we arrived in to a mall, the same mall where I and Jae Woo ran in to yesterday.

I didn't bother to explain what had happened in the past few days and kept quiet while Oppa squeezed my hand tightly as he assured me that everything will be fine.

I wanted to give Oppa a wide smile, till something caught my eye. Something in the long distance.

I went closer to and through the transparent white window of the mall, I could see Min Hyuk and Soo Jin, walking hand in hand in the street path as they stopped to give each other a passionate deep kiss, not knowing that I had saw everything.

My heart was broken in millions of pieces, nothing can recover it except his love...

Endless tears were coming rolling from my eyes to my cheeks as I wiped it away. But I couldn't prevented them from rolling.

Oppa came by my side and followed my gaze, but soon he looked at me with saddened eyes. He helped me to wipe my tears away as I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a hug. He comforted me and hugged me back.

"Shh, he doesn't deserve you Yae Rin. He's just an bubble gum, same as Soo Jin" He stroke my long, black hair and hugged me tightly.

I refused to answer back and kept on crying with my eyes closed till there were no tears left. I was deeply hurt by Min Hyuk's action.

Min Hyuk was my first love. We did everything together, well not everything, but the most. He stole my first kiss, he's the first guy besides Oppa who ever held my hand and hugged me, he was the guy who perfectly understands me and he meant everything to me. No words could describe how much I actually love him.

Why is he cheating on me? And why with my best friend?

Soon an answer came as I thought deeply. No wonder..How could I've been so dumb? I guess that the reason why Soo Jin wanted to exchange our boyfriends is to be with Min Hyuk secretly. I already smell something fishy when Min Hyuk was avoiding me lately and kept on spending times with Soo Jin. But what about Jae Woo? What kind of role is he in this ridiculous story?

The scene of Min Hyuk kissing with Soo Jin lingers in my mind and it keeps on playing over and over again. It was like a video on a repeat mode without an stop and pause button.

I shook my head, hoping that it would go away.

I opened my eyes and saw some blurry vision. I blinked twice before I noticed that Oppa's uniform was wet by my tears. How long have I been crying? I looked at my pink coloured watch with a few diamonds in it. I gasped when I saw the time. I have been crying for an hour now?!


"Sorry..." I said in a soft tone, releasing him from my arms and stared at him with my puffy eyes.

Staring at me with his hazel eyes, he laughed and patted my head. "It's okay, because you're the only person who can cry till my uniform becomes wet. Even if it was Sol Ji, I would had pushed her away right from the start!" He said proudly, wanting me to feel special as a I gave him a tiny smile.

"So, do you want to eat a Ben & Jerry ice-cream? I know that it's your favourite¡± He smiled and extended his hand out, motioning me to come with him.

I grabbed his hand tightly as we both went to buy Ben & Jerry's ice-cream. After we finished eating our ice-cream, Oppa brought me to Noraebang as we sang like there's no tomorrow.

There are times that Yoon Jung Oppa isn't bad at all. And this was one of it. When ever I'm moody or down, he'd always be there to protect me and let me see the beautiful colours of the world, which causes me to stop pitying myself and to smile again.

When it was late, around the time 5 pm, the sun almost set and we decided to go home.

Oppa stood up from the couch. "Gosh your voice, you should become a singer, Yae Rin!" Oppa clapped his hands and applauds.

I laughed at his comment and softly pushed him. "Stop teasing me, Oppa!"

When we were on our way to the way out, I opened the doorknob and there stood Min Hyuk with Soo Jin in front of us with a happy expression, but soon it faded away and a shocked expression replaced it.

Day Three. Chapter 9 - Part One

I woke up and did the daily things that I do, like brushing my teeth and etc.

When I came down, I saw that Oppa and Unni has already left, so that leaves me alone. I was kind of disappointed, but I do realize that Oppa got school and that Unni has to work on a morning shift today.

I smiled at the note that is lying on the table, near a plate of a small piece of chocolate cake.

It says:

“Dear Yae Rin,

Yoon Jung and I can’t be there when you wake up, because I have a morning shift and Yoon Jung has to come early to school to organize a ‘event’ for his school.
However, we both woke up early to bake you a cake and we tried our best to bake it…please do tell us whether it’s tasteful or not!

See you later at home and remember, we love you!

Hugs and kisses,
Unni and Oppa”

Beneath the letter, I saw Oppa’s messy handwriting and it says ‘Hey, I don’t give hugs and kisses to my own sister! By the way, you could had wrote ‘sexy’ Oppa instead of Oppa, sheesh!’

And beneath that, I could recognize Unni‘s handwriting, writing ’SHUT UP, YOON JUNG!’

I laughed at it and decided to eat the cake. Once I had it in my mouth, I expected that it’ll be delicious. But boy, I was wrong.

I spitted the cake out and the floor became messy.

Oh my god, that’s the WORST ever cake that has been made! Are they trying to kill me? =_=

I wiped my mouth with my fingers and cleaned the kitchen with a broom.

I smiled satisfied when it was clean and went straight to school.

When I arrived at school, everyone was blocking the gate’s entrance and there was a lot of fan girls screaming. I tried my best to see what’s happening, but I’m too short.

Argh, why am I even born short?! And if I’m late to my class, I’m going to blame them!

But why be late if you can push people aside? Not a bad idea…

Leaving me no choice, I decided to push through the crowd of squealing fan girls, and soon I could see why the girls were screaming and yelling…

Day. Three - Chapter 9 - Part 2

There was Oppa, standing ‘coolly’ with Jae Woo and behind them there were a lot of students, mainly girls from Seoul High School, standing in front of me with their glaring eyes.

Why are they glaring at me with hateful eyes? Wait, better yet said…What are they doing here?!

It was as if they’re waiting for someone, or something. Soon I panicked to death, knowing that it might have to do about a event that Unni was talking about Oppa‘s school. mini cooper, if those girls find out that Yoon Jung is my Oppa, I’m dead!

By dead I mean, I can’t have a PEACEFUL and normal life anymore. Every girl will ask for his phone number, stalk me when I’m walking to home and keep on asking me to update news about him.

NOOOOO! The reason why I kept quiet about Yoon Jung Oppa is because I wanted a plain and simple life, without everyone to bother me because I’m ‘Kim Yoon Jung’s dongseng’

I started to walk away quietly from the crowd, when a voice suddenly rang behind me. It was a male voice, hearing the tone of it, it didn’t sound happy.

“KIM YAE RIN!”

“Yah! What are you doing?!” Another male voice followed, but soon it faded away.

I covered my ears with my hands and quickly run away from the girls and away from the voice, panicking what will happen if I get caught by him. Soon I tripped, but luckily I didn‘t sprained nor twisted my ankle.

Darn it! Why am I born as a clumsy girl and as a short girl?!

A sudden thought pop in my mind about Min Hyuk. Whenever I fall or trip, he’ll always give me a piggyback ride and laugh at me for being so clumsy.

Why does he keep popping in my head without any warning?…I’ve already promised that I’m going to start a new fresh life, without him…but why can’t I erase him from my thoughts and from my mind…?

Thinking about him once again, it felt like my heart was sinking to the deepest hole of the darkness and soon I realized that my heart was yearning for him. His caressing hands touching my cheek and laughing at me softly with his pink cherry lips…I miss it, all of it.

Without him I feel alone, so alone that I couldn’t even handle my own world when a part of me is breaking down, slowly.

Tears wanted to pour down once again from my eyes, but I held it back by biting my lips. A single tear managed to escape but I quickly wiped it away, leaving no trace that I wanted to cry again.

My body felt cold. Was it because of the chilly weather? Was it because of the thought that it was over between me and Min Hyuk? Whatever it is, it just felt cold suddenly.

The female students from my school whispered to each other and I could hear that some of them said that I am weird. I couldn’t care what they say about me, because their words have no effect on me or whatsoever.

Just when I wanted to take a step further, away from all of this noise to cry again, I could feel a hand reaching out on my shoulder, causing me not to move a inch.

Suddenly the girls started to scream behind me again and I can tell you, their screaming was enough to get my eardrums to explode.

I froze by the person’s action. The hand that is placed on my shoulder has break through the icy wall of cold and my body was filled with warmth by the comfortable hand.

My body turned to face the person behind me and it was Jae Woo, wearing his school uniform but without his blazer.

Day.Three - Chapter 10


My eyes wandered to his hand. I looked up at him, our eyes locking. He placed his blazer around my shoulder, causing me to feel warmer inside.

My heart fluttered when Jae Woo dragged me away from the commotion and the crowd and we were running aimlessly without any invitation from the direction, not knowing where to go.

I felt glad that he took me away, because I don’t think that I could have endured it any longer.

I followed his running pace and soon we stopped in front at a small convenient store and silence was filling the air. No one spoke from the two of us and I didn’t felt that it was my responsible to be the first one to speak up.

I waited, waited till he would say something. But instead, I found him searching something in his navy blue pocket and soon I could identify the item that he was searching for.

A pack of cigarettes.

He pulled out a cigarette from the pack and putted it in his mouth. While searching for his lighter, I took the cigarette away, threw it on the ground and stomped at it.

Die die die cigarette!

He looked at me as if I was a mad woman as I just replied with a nervous yet angry smile.

“Hey, may I ask you something?” I said, looking at him as he turned his head to the other side.

He nodded and walked away a few steps from the convenient store and leaned against the bricked wall. He rested his eyes a little by closing his eyes, but blinked a couple of times because he wanted to stay up.

By just looking at him, I think he haven’t slept yesterday.

“Why…why-” I said but didn’t managed to complete my sentence.

“Why did I kissed you?” Jae Woo continued the sentence and fixed his eyes on a spot, which is the ground.

My heartbeat started to quicken unlike it’s usual pace and a blush crept over my face.

“Well you could say that maybe I like you or maybe I used you. Up to you to decide whether which one you want to believe in”

“Yah! What’s that for an answer?” I yelled and stomp at the ground like a 5 years old kid, wanting a lollypop but couldn’t get it.

“A poetic answer, not satisfied? I thought that most of the girls would like their boyfriend if they say it in Shakespeare way?” He scratch his hair with his fingers and looked confused.

“Shakespeare way?! You’re not even close to Shakespeare!” I laughed at his stupid attempt of becoming Shakespeare, which felt good.

He laughed with me but soon the laughter faded away and by that, he gave me a smile. He looks pretty when he smile, even I have to admit it…

He looked straight to my eyes and quickly turned away. Even though if it‘s for a second, I felt that his eyes were showing some part of loneliness.

“Yah, I know that you have my bulldog at your house, so can you get it and bring back to my school? I really miss my bulldog”

How did he know that his bulldog is at my house?

“I-” Before I could say any words, Jae Woo cut me off smoothly. “You’re wondering how I know?” He sneered, while looking at the orange coloured sky with a slight mixture of yellow engulfing the city. “Well, let’s say that someone I trust told me about everything” He glanced quickly at me and stares again at the sky.

Hell no! Oppa told him that we’re siblings?!

“I see, Oppa did? You guys sure did make up very quickly” I gave him a smile, even though I wasn’t happy about it.

He didn’t answer me and remained silent while the wind that is passing us embraced us with the cold air.

Should I…should I tell him about Min Hyuk and Soo Jin right now? I mean, he has the right to know it since he is Soo Jin’s real boyfriend.

I wanted to tell him, but whenever I opened my mouth to talk about Min Hyuk, it felt as if I’m suffocating and I just couldn’t do it…

A part of me wants me to believe that he’ll come back to me after this one month, but another part of me is slowly dying, drowned in the pool of darkness.

“Yah, why are you crying?!” Jae Woo bolted over to my side and yelled, but not loud enough to shock me.

I touched my cheeks for awhile and this time, he was right. I was indeed crying…but what for and why?

He touched my cheeks with his soft hands like a gift that is sent from the angels and gently remove my tears from my face as they fall down one by one. I didn’t pushed him away. In fact, I was standing all the time crying, while he looks at me with saddened eyes.

When there were no more tears left, I beamed at him brightly as his eyes widened like a balloon.

He sighed and you could see those white puffs coming out from his mouth. “If you’re not going to tell me, then fine. But be sure to pick up the bulldog and bring it to my school once your finish”

I nodded and I was glad that he didn’t demand for an answer. Honestly, I didn’t felt that I was in the mood for school either. I waved him goodbye as we both took a different path.

“You better come to my school later!” He called out after me as I turned around to see his back. He didn’t bother to look back. Nevertheless, I smiled and was thankful that he was still there for me.

I walked towards my house quickly, halfway my cell phone rang and surprisingly it was from Oppa. I accepted it and the moment where I accepted his call, I could hear “KIM YAE RIN, YOU’RE DEAD IF I SEE YOU AT MY SCHOOL TODAY!”

“Yah, Oppa! What did I do and how do you know that I’m going to your school later?!”

“Don’t play dumb with me missy! When I woke up, I decided to phone one of my girlfriends to greet her in the morning, but suddenly I saw that ALL of the phone numbers are gone! Now who could had done it seeing that there‘s only one person who always come to my room to mess up my things!“ He yelled through the cell phone and catches his breath before he continued.

I waited for the continuation of his message. “And secondly, our school principals are friends and they decided that Seoul High and Osaka High should co-operate. And the result was that my class and your class should do a drama scene together or something and the group that perform the most original scene will win or something. So that's why we came to get your school students to make a 'welcoming' appearance” He finally finished what he had to say.

“Drama scene? When is it?” I asked him while focusing on the streets, carefully taking step by step instead of running.

“Over 20 minutes or so”

“I see…Can you take a note of who I’m partnering with?”

“Why? Scrap that, I got to hang up now or else they‘ll snatch my phone away” He said in a soft tone and hang up before I could comment back.

When I arrived at my house, after exactly 30 minutes walking, I went to search for Jae Woo’s bulldog and darted to upstairs, but there was no trace of his bulldog.

I didn’t give up and searched the whole house. But soon, I came to the conclusion that…the bulldog is gone..

Day Three. Chapter 11



Oh my god, oh my god. What am I going to do now?! Wait! Unni probably knows where it is! BINGO, I'm always so smart!

I grabbed my cell phone and immediately pressed Unni’s cell phone number and awaits patiently till she accepts my call.

“What the hell do you want?” The voice came through the other line. Strangely, it doesn’t sounds like Unni. Well DUH, Unni never answers this rudely!

“Hello? Who is this?” I asked, while keep on walking in a diagonal line and walked backwards when I almost bumped to the wall.

“Don’t you think I should ask you that? You’re the one who’s calling me” The person said in a irritated tone.

“What?! Who are you and what are you doing with my Unni’s cell phone?!” I scowled and stopped walking.

“Your Unni’s cell phone? Haha, you’re funny. This is my cell phone. Tell me, are you one of my ex girlfriends again or one of my fan girls?”

I got fed up by his words and dropped my cell phone on the wooden table. I picked a red polka dot cushion from the plain looking couch and pretend that it’s the person who’s answering Unni’s phone and started to beat it up with my two fists.

I let my fists to become my hands again and did a karate move on the cushion as my final slash.

Haha, if it was real, that guy would be dead by now!

“Yah, answer my question!” His voice raised loudly and I was surprised by his act.

Gosh, this guy sure is loud…

I picked it up again and pressed it on my ear while I hold it with my right hand. “Blablablalbalblalba, I already asked, what are you doing with my Unni’s cell phone?!”

“And I already asked whether your one of my ex girlfriends or one of my fan girls. Just ans-”

This is hopeless…Before letting him to speak more, I pressed on the red telephone icon on my cell phone and was glad that I hung up on him.

I putted my cell phone at the pocked of Jae Woo’s blazer. I plopped my body imitatively on the couch, closed my eyes and took a deep sigh.

I wonder…who is he and why is he using Unni’s cell phone?

I blinked my eyes retiringly and knew that things are getting worse while it should get better instead. I tried to think of ideas that I could use to save myself, but in the end there no single idea that has popped in my head.

And I can’t basically go to Unni to ask if she saw Jae Woo’s bulldog because the restaurant where Unni is working at, is miles miles miles away from here! >_<

What am I suppose to do now? If Jae Woo finds out that his bulldog is gone…AHHHH, I don’t even want to think of how he would react!

I made my way from the couch and touched Jae Woo’s blazer. I pulled it closer to me but I had the urge to wear it. And so I did. Surprisingly his blazer fits me. It wasn’t too wide or too tight. It just fits me. o__o

I never noticed how thin he was till now. I shrugged and told myself that it isn’t the time to think about this.

I walked towards to door, closed it behind me and locked it with my key that perfectly fits in the hole.

The wind has become much colder and fiercer, but I didn’t paid attention to it and I just walk, letting my legs to take me to wherever it wanted to go.

Soon, a sudden idea barged in my mind. I smiled and felt relieved that I was saved after all!

I looked at the vertical shop name ‘Pet Shop’ and steps in while dusting my uniform.

There were a lot of various pets in here, but none that I was interested in. I lay my eyes on the pets to check if I didn’t missed a bulldog that exactly looks like Jae Woo. Sighing, there was no exact copy of it and I walk a step further.

“May I help you?” A female voice said that came from behind.

I turned around, my eyes opened to its limit and my mouth became a large ‘O’

It’s him! The transvestite guy!

He, I mean she beamed and clapped her hands repeatedly. “You came!” Without any warning, she wrapped her arms at my slim body and kept on jumping like a crazy woman. “Oh my god, I was like, totally scared when you didn’t paid me a visit!”

I was left surprised and regretted the moment that I stepped in here. I sighed and pushed her softly away from me. She wasn’t offended when I did that, while I do hope that she’ll get mad!

“So, what brings you here?” She asked happily and it freaks me out a bit, to be honest.

I smiled nervously, glancing at the floor and look back at her. “I want to buy a bulldog”

“Oh, for the hot guy that I’ve met the last time? Tell me, what happened between you guys?! I want to hear every single detail that is going on in your life!” She squealed in a excited tone, while playing with her wig.

“He’s not my boyfriend at all! I already told you the last time!” I yelled softly.

She pinches my cheek roughly. “Aish, you’re so cute!”

I rubbed it and winced in pain. I think that I’m getting a bruise. T_T

“Follow me darling!” She said in a excited tone and walk in front of me, leading the way while I followed her.

When I found the exact same copy of Jae Woo’s bulldog I smiled. I pointed at it and said that I wanted to buy it.

She picked the bulldog up and gave it to me. Gently cradling in my arms, I thought “I don’t have my purse!”

“Unni, I don’t have my purse with me” I laughed nervously and lowered my head.

‘She‘ stared at me. “Don’t worry darling, I‘ll give it to you. But on one condition”

I anticipate for awhile and awaits for her answer. “You have to let me date your boyfriend, just for one day”

I froze and shook my head. “Unni, he’s not my boyfriend, so I can’t do that”

She sighed. “I’m sorry. But you can’t buy the bulldog then!”

“No no no no no, I need the bulldog!” I plead and hugged it tightly.

“So are we on? Will you set me up with your boyfriend for one day?” She asked happily, while licking her lips.
